Can't edit header image logo size in monopoly theme

I'm currently using the monopoly theme (from mythemeshop). I got this theme when I bought the site and I like it. However, I can't increase the header image logo size to fit my banner logo image. It only allows me to upload a logo image size of 210 x 70. The image I want to add is 981 x 140. I have never edited the CSS before. Is this what I need to do? I'm just sick and tired of googling this and not finding an answer. Also, mythemeshop won't help me because I didn't buy the theme from them. Also, their support forum doesn't allow me to view the answer I need. Thanks for your time with this aggravating problem I have. :confused:

    Most themes have a header.php file where you can edit the header. The style.css file may have the header image and size to edit also but you have to look.

      Thanks for your response. I did look through the header.php and style.css files but I didn't see anything that had a size feature that I could edit. I must have missed it. I'll take another look. Thanks.

    Unfortunately, I think you'll need someone to hire for that, or to find someone and send him theme over. This way is not possible to solve this...

    I tried to figure out how to help you, but whatever I try, can't be done.

              I'm assuming you're talking about wordpress theme, because you didn't mention it once.

              For some themes, the header image size is set in the functions.php file.

                Upload your Logo in theme options first!
                In wordpress Admin area on left menu click "Monopoly" them click "General Settings" then on Logo image - upload image!

                Then write down your height and width!

                Then edit your Functions Folder Theme Actions php page:
                1) In your functions folder look for theme-actions.php go to line#72 and edit witdth from 210 to (whatever)
                2) then edit line 72 0r 73 edit witdth from 210 to (whatever) and min-height: 70px to (whatever)
                3) Save file and upload to your functions folder by FTP!
                4) Go to your website and refresh page!
                5) Click thanks on bottom right of this page in forum!

                Yes, it's WordPress. Thanks for offering to help, but the problem is now solved. I do appreciate it, though.
