Can anyone tell me how I can NOINDEX Part Of A Page?

Basically I have a section on my pages that I do not want indexed by G. I do still want the links inside of this section to be followed, just not indexed.

I came across this, but I'm unsure of how it all works. Anyone have any experience with this?

    I've found the same result as you but I have no idea.

    I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't work though. It seems very basic, and the code is still going to get crawled by Google so if it's something you want hidden, that's not going to the be the solution for you

    I don't mind they crawl that section of the page (I'd prefer they did), I just don't want it showing up in search results.
