At the bottom of the pages on the site below there's a feed of questions being asked. What a great little thingie for a "fixit" site. You all may know about it but first time I've seen it used this way.

    That is cool, I looked at the source - seems they are doing it with AJAX using the Prototype JavaScript library. I really like how they keep the status bar "glued" to the bottom of the page too.

    This would also work well on social networking sites.

      It's got a real "sticky" factor.

      I was looking up specific info and the script didn't distract me from what I was reading but it did catch my attention. It was like instead of screaming (like a popup does) it was just tapping me on the shoulder.

      Once I saw it I was fascinated, saw some interesting stuff and was checking it out. I had no idea how it was done - just knew it looked like a great idea.
