Hey guys,

So ive been working on starting another site, an exact replica of my first site, but have been running into a bunch of issues. On our first website, the products show up under our categories like they are supposed to. But with our second website, the coding and categories are IDENTICAL, but the products dont show up under the categories. Our site is setup on ProStores.

On our first site we do get an invalid code error on our category template pages, but everything works properly. On our second website, im wondering if maybe these errors are causing an issue cause maybe one store is on a different ProStores version. In the coding we get this Syntax Error:

Please review the following list of errors and/or warnings. Note that any listed errors may cause unexpected results.
AC and Heater
ERROR: Illegal template syntax in template "AC and Heater" - nested tags are disallowed: ?category=<ss:value source='$catalog.keyword'/>. (566-603)

Can anyone help me out to understand this and as to what I would need to remove to fix this?

THANK YOU!!

Seems like you have a proprietary script running the site. You need to contact the developer.

What is a proprietary script and why would it cause the problem of the products not show up?

Usually it's software that has been purchased to run a site.

    From Wikipedia:
Proprietary software or closed source software is computer software licensed under exclusive legal right of the copyright holder with the intent that the licensee is given the right to use the software only under certain conditions, and restricted from other uses, such as modification, sharing, studying, redistribution, or reverse engineering. Usually the source code of proprietary software is not made available.
