Hi All...
What type of system would you recommend for someone wanting to build a website is not a coder etc? I've heard of Headway Themes, but thought I'd ask you guys what you think is the best for someone who just wants to drag and drop...

Big Thanks,
Beaumont.

Either WordPress.com or Wix. Both are free if that is what you are looking for.

I'll go with wordpress and buy one of those customizable premium themes (try themeforest). There are plenty of professional designs that need little to no technical knowledge.

If you want to create your own themes, without coding knowledge, Artisteer is another option.

I think I will go with wix or wordpress. I mostly work with wp now, we can configure and customize it much better with wordpress than with blogspot (google's platform)....

wix will also give you a very pro look and yet easy to set up, user friendly back end control panel

    I would recommend Weebly.

It's a good and very underrated host (much better than Wix, I think, and I've used both several times), with a great, easy-to-use, free site-builder provided. It's so easy that even I can make decent-looking websites with it (and believe me: that's really saying something! ).

This will be a minority opinion, but for myself, I keep well away from WordPress, in spite of its great popularity, for all the reasons explained here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post8224603

    Good luck!

A: The "best website builder for dummies solution" is a seasoned Web developer with graphics design expertise. If you want to just drag and drop, then you can just drag this person to your office, drop your ideas to him or her, and wait for your website to be built the way you want it to.

Seriously: If you don't have Web development and graphics design expertise and tech knowledge in domain and server management, then I suggest you hire someone local (or even overseas, since you can communicate and share screens via Skype anyway) who has been doing a good job with these things for years -- It'll save you a lot of time, a lot of money and a lot of stress...

    Here's the thing...
You want to have a great website right ? something pro that will make you money and you think that you can do that yourself ?

But... i got to say that it won't hapend before a long, long, long but i mean very very very long times!

Webdesign is in itself an art that need thousands of hours to master and i'm not even starting with the marketing part of it that also need a lot of times...

There's so many point you have to master, think about it.

    You need a great design
you need to code this desing in a plateform (like wordpress)
    create a good user experience
    all the modules/plugins
    The search engine optimisation
    Integrate everything together
    the security
    and more more more more..

You really have 2 choices here

Or you get ready to learn it and it will take you years before it's WOW or you hire someone that have the experience under his belt and who will take you on his shoulder.

Now there's trap all along the way even if you hire someone (look the review they are social proof, very important)

Guidance would help a lot if you want to do it yourself, a good coach is an invaluable resource (you can pm me if you want a coach, i will refer you to mine, she have an awesome membership site...)

    All the luck to you

Another vote for WordPress. I used to build websites the primitive way in the early 2000's and got back into it 2 years ago. Before finding WordPress, I thought I would have to re-learn everything and more because of how far web design and technology has come. Now I don't recommend anything else and build my clients sites with it too. If they can use it, you can too.

Wordpress is the easiest and you can always found good tutorials on youtube that can help you to personalize your page. And you can monetize your site with some adsense alternatives.
