Hello,

Basically, I have a theme. The theme has a menu bar at the top and appears on all pages.

What I want to do is fix it so that the menu bar does not appear at the top of pages for the blog.

Is there a standard way to do this?

TIA

    Hi Warrior,

you can try some free plugins which can let you choose
which menu you want to have appear on your pages

OR you can use a Child theme

Most current themes allow full control of menu appearance in the dashboard.

Old out of date themes no.

Most theme do let you control appearance of menu's, but usually not location selection.

You can add code to your header to keep a menu from loading, but that is more of a hack and you have to list every page/post you don't want it to show on.

This looks like it might work for you:
