Well I'm trying to figure out what is the best software for a new site I want to build. I teach reading - I don't want a blog but I need to be able to post books, worksheets etc.

It has to be easy to update and I'd really like it to match the homepage I have created.
Aut2Learn.com . Please help!
I can install Joomla (too complicated), WordPress (not what I was looking for) and now created my own but not happy.

Anyone want to help me figure this out?

Money is nonexistent - I help autistic / Down Syndrome et al kids to read and I'll be setting the site up as a membership site but I need simplicity in uploading my books and docs to it.

Thanks for your help in advance.
Mike

Why not Wordpress and a membership plugin? Wordpress and S2member work well and they are both free.

How is Wordpress not what your looking for?

It's currently set up with WP, do you mean to change it to something else?

WordPress definitely could work, finding the right theme for what you're looking for can make all the difference in terms of how much extra work you'd need to put into it.

I would recommend just browsing themeforest.com for WP themes as a starting guide, then taking it from there.
