Thinking of Re-design

This is a website of a cane furniture shop based in kolkata.

The client seems pleased with the design but I do wish to re-design it perhaps in html (currently it is in wordpress)

What can you suggest for better local seo and conversion ?

    Yeah, site looks fine. Why would you take it from WordPress back to basic HTML?

    Your time would probably be better spent doing on page SEO, adding content, building links, etc.

    Looks fine no need to redesign. I would suggest to make text in the botton black section more visable. Concentrate on seo, adding good content etc.

    It's obviously a template.

    Honestly, it has issue. Look at it with Javascript blocked (NoScript) for an example.
    You need to either keep tweaking/customizing that template, or yes, redesign it.

    I'd disagree that it was 100% fine as is, as some here are suggesting.

    Some people do not look under the hood... performance, like most WP sites, sucks, too. JS in head section, security of this blog also sucks.

    165 http requests, over 720kb, over 5.63 seconds loading time... a lot of people will just leave because it is so slow. Several JS errors, one 404 error... a mess.

      Good catch. I didn't even get that far with it. I'd loaded it in a tab while reading, never saw the loading time issue.

      The moment I see sites barf with no JS, it's already not working correctly. Apparently it just gets worse from the initial impression.

      Fix it, or redesign it. And if redesigning, make sure it actually improves it!
