WEB DESIGN

I am just trying to figure out how to rest content in the center of a table that is set to 100% width. I want the content to be 900px width.

  Actually it is for An Online Church Ministry - Growing Christians - Reaching The Lost and I think I was wrong...the main content is 984px I think.

  First of all you should avoid using table based layout. Secondly it seems that the main content is already 984px wide and centered. So I didn't understand your actual question? Can you be more specific?

I don't know for sure if this is what you want but anyway:

On the main table you have style="width: 984px; ". Change that to 100%. After that you need to enter a second table with the style="width: 984px; margin: 0 auto;". I hope it will work.
