WooCommerce Theme Problems

I just joined this forum after being told I should have for months. Finally stopped being lazy as I think its time to get some experts help. Ok here it goes. I recently purchased a theme from Themeforest.net specifically for my WooCommerce site. I've never dealt with this before but this theme has awful support and breaks or doesn't function properly with almost any plugin active that it didn't come with. 90% of plugins mess it up including Yoast and W3 Total Cache. Had to force title tags on Yoast as well after theme which was odd as they showed up fine before theme install. Also load time has gone from 3-4 seconds to 8-18. Would someone mind looking at this site?

I really love the way it looks when it works but I have a feeling the coding is really slopping or something else is going on. It's also probably going to kill my SEO once I start on it. I really need a high quality site that instills consumer confidence. Troubleshooting wise I have already shutdown the areas where the theme tries to take over the SEO to avoid conflicts with no results. Oddly the deeper you go into the site the higher chance of all the elements showing up. Also in the internal pages removing the "/" at the end of the url for the partially loaded pages also seems to increase the chance of the page loading.

Below are two links from my site (homepage - high percent of not loading)(page further in that prob will load). I'm including the demo site of the theme as well.

Problem Solved Link Removed

Thanks in advance and if you need me to include something else or have solutions/recommendations please let me know.

Thanks Again

When you buy a theme from Themeforest, you are also buying support from the seller. You should have access to ask the seller specifically about these issues. There is usually a "Support" tab right on the sales page for the theme.

I've already done all of that. Like I said the support is really bad. Response time is long and with generic troubleshooting that I've already taken care of. I have a feeling it's one or two people that just can't handle the support requests.

Again any help guys would be really appreciated.

      Thanks

Themes that don't work with a large number of plugins ... seems to me that poor coding is the only thing that could be wrong.

I wouldn't try to fix poor coding.

I'd go look for something I like that has good coding.

It seems to me that you're letting your favoritism of this theme over-ride the amount of time you're wasting with a poorly coded theme. The theme itself doesn't appear to me to have any special features that you wouldn't find in another theme...

Write it off as a mistake, and move to a theme that does have good support and is correctly coded.

    That would be my advice.

I'm not a programmer, nor do I want to be... if I can't get support to fix an issue, I just drop it, and move on... there are far too many fantastic themes out there that will do what I want.

I'm currently using Genesis with Dynamik, and I'm quite happy with it.

Yeah I have a feeling this theme is just going to be too much trouble. The problem with wordpress is finding a good theme with great support that is meant for WooCommerce. Again I love the look of the store which was the main attraction. Auto stores tend to have a since of size which this theme presented. The safe bet I'd imagine would be something like U-Design that has over 35,000 sales so prob. great support. Problem is that its not really specifically designed for WooCommerce. I take it its not possible to replicate the store part of the theme I'm using and have it in another theme?

I'm going to be a very poor person to ask this question as I'm not familiar with WooCommerce.

I just know that trying to constantly fix theme issues without support is a waste of my time... and likely yours as well. Since I don't run a store, I'll leave the floor open for other that do - perhaps someone who uses WooCommerce can chime in?

Well thank you very much for your help and hopefully a good WooCommerce solution will come up. Again I was told Warrior Forums was the place to go. Trying to be patient and listen to sound advice before making the next decision.

          Thanks Again

new theme is good for a new site, but if you have an existing running / working site then you want to install a new theme, you should think twice there a bunch of headache waiting for you...especially if you have a lot of plugin installed..
usually you should make a copy of your site to test your new theme for possible problem before deploying to the main site....

Hey Fonswothe, you can find nearly every WP theme that is compatible with WooCommerce here:
Themes after you select a category, you can click Compatibility > Woocommerce to view all of the themes in that category that are compatible with WooCommerce.

If you can tell me what parts of your current set up you like and want to keep, I might be able to suggest something similar.
