Need Your Expert Opinion About My Website Design Work

Hello,

I am an internet marketer who also dabbles in Wordpress website design. I am always looking to learn and improve my skill set, so recently I've looked at my past website projects and am looking for ways to improve my web design skills.

I am interested to hear your stories of how you grew in the web design field, and share about how your average web developer can become better.

To give you an example of sites I created using a theme:

    I am no designer and not something I am working on, but I would think the best way to get better or grow is to keep doing and learning. Look at other designs for inspiration. Just checking out places like Themeforest should give you plenty of ideas.

    Obviously the best skill to learn would be CSS. Get that down and your could design most anything. CSS is the one thing I wish I was better at.

    I think your designs are good. They are not amazing, but nice sites. I don't mean to be rude, you asked. And if your doing this good already, with more practice you could make some fantastic themes.

    One other thing I noticed, if you learned how to integrate other things into the design a little better. Like on the hotel site, the optin form in the footer sticks out like a sore thumb. Just doesn't look like it's suppose to be there. Doesn't make the site. Maybe you already know that.

    Just my thoughts. No offense intended.

    Yea, I used to go through HTML & CSS tutorials on http://www.w3schools(dot)com

    I am going to do that again on CSS.

    I will focus on integrating 3rd party things into the sites better to flow nicer.
