Does My Site Work On Your Device?

Hello Warriors, I updated my website using the new web3 site builder and wanted to see if this page works on your device

The reason i am asking is because it seems my call ratio lowered and was not sure if maybe the site is not working on mobile devices or if the site looks like crap

I would love to hear your opinion on my site as far as the way it looks on mobile devices or laptops etc.

My site is Happy Appliance Repair Service

my old version Happy Appliance Repair

Thank you Warriors for taking the time to read about my problem
Matt

There are a lot of issues you have to fix to make the site responsive. The site looks terrible at mobile size. Many elements do not scale down to display at correct sizes, the menu disappears instead of collapsing for mobiles, and for some reason the site loads very slowly.

I tested it using Chrome on a laptop and on an Android phone. A couple things jump out at me:
Mobile: I only see a handful of coupons and your number at the top, none of the menu items or other details that are on your full site. There is a link at the bottom that says "Continue to Full Site" that loops back to the same incomplete page. It's broken on mobiles.

I checked your style.css and didn't see anything specific for mobile browsers...I would start there

Desktop: you have a scrolling effect setup where as you go down from the top of the page, a JQuery plugin is rolling through images on top of each other and then at the bottom showing you a popup with the number to call. Personally, it's a jarring effect and I would suggest moving away from it.

    Your website is not responsive!

BTW: one way to get an idea if your site is responsive before you start testing it on different devices is to reduce the size of your browser, just grab the edge and pull it smaller and see if the site is responsive. Your isn't.

    Hope that helps.

The desktop doesn't work that well. My "device" is a Mac / Chrome with browser width at about 1250px. Stuff gets cut off from both sides which makes it impossible to read the text. The text just barely fits on the screen when I have the browser at full screen on 24" monitor. That's a huge issue.

I'd have my text as text for SEO purposes and easy updates.

You should take of the delayed scroll from the third "slide" (price). User gets past the empty space before the content gets there.

The mobile site works on a phone with most recent Android / Chrome combo. Not much on the site, but those coupons display just fine.

I get the impression that harkon used the good old "scale browser window down" trick to test the mobile. Doesn't really work with your approach...

I suggest you install all significant modern browsers, that way you will cover a large part of your audience. For tablet and mobile phone users use chrome device simulator (part of the inspect element function).

I tried your site on a laptop (works great) and a mini iPad, both horizontal and vertical. As others have said, it is not responsive. When I look at it horizontally, it cuts off the page on the left and the right sides, and doesn't allow me to reduce the page to fix it. When I look at it vertically, it only shows on the two-thirds of the page, with the last 1/3rd only white.

I do DIY blogging so I look at these kinds of sites a lot, and I really like the look of your site, once it's fixed. I especially like where you put the Facebook mini photos across the page horizontally. It's looks really nice right where you have it.

    Good luck!
