|  How to convert .avi to a web-suitable format
Hello, I have a few videos that I want to upload to both youtube as well as my website. But the issue with them is their weighs which I think is because of .avi format. (a 12 sec video is about 30 mb in size) I want to reduce their sizes so as to be able to upload them all to two different places. I am looking out for some free converter to do it. Someone please suggest one that does the job. |

Sorry, It's only free if you have the tool, but I believe that Flash does a pretty good job of video compression.

Hi, Alevoor, I use a fee flv converter called leawo flv converter,with which you can convert FLV to many other pop formats. Maybe you can have a try! Good luck! |

The software I mainly use is DVDVideoSoft. It's a great package with lots of different tools in there.

I use a program calle Any Video Converter it was a free download and works great! I just found it on Google a few months ago.

Hi, other alternative to allvideoconverter is Total Video Converter. download the latest version, is easier to use, I feel.
