Anyone can Help me I wanted to make product filters for my static website that I have creating for months but stuck in filters.
I wanted to make them like http://www.shophive.com/mobiles-tablets/mobile-phones/apple
You can see on right side there is "Shop By" section where product filters are placed, whenever user click on one of them they remain selected and show on the top and you can remove them also.

Why not just using a good shopping cart software/plugin? That kind of thing is usually built in to all of them. Use something that is already done, rather than waste your time on something you don't need to waste time on.

Well, I was talking about using a ready to go shopping cart software, or a shopping cart plug for something like Wordpress. Some are free, others are not.

But since you have a static site that is different. If your selling something, why are you using a static site in the first place? Seems more work than necessary. Unless you have a good reason.

Because I have learned HTML, CSS and Javacript and I wanted to make my own website from scratch. And seo is easy with Static website. Or maybe I was wrong. I have very little information about all this stuff.

Obviously it's your choice. Me personally, I learned years ago, that I wasted so much time learning things like php, ect. It was a waste because their was already ready-to-go solutions, so I could spend my time more wisely, on more important task such as promotion, selling, production creation, marketing and more.

I kick myself for wasting so much time on things I did not need to do.

I don't totally agree that SEO is easy for HTML or static websites. Not easy just because it's static. That does not have a big bearing on SEO.

Of course depends on you. Maybe your not looking to make money or you have plenty of free time. Most people here are here to make money or build a business, maybe it's different for you.

Listen to Ron on this one. Find a Wordpress solution out there, maybe using Woocommerce, and see if it fits your sorting needs. If you still want to continue your education on PHP, you can always look under the hood of the particular theme or plugin to see how the pros have done it. There are also some really good SEO plugins out there for Wordpress. Good luck.
