    Depends on the extent of your SEO. If you have a longtail, keyword rich domain that you are trying to rank #1 for with less competition, id say go for it even if the term is long in nature.

    Of course, we have to take into consideration the market in which you are trying to compete and how cohesive the domain name appears.

    If you are trying to brand your domain name, stick to a shorter domain name that you can build SEO value over time. The shorter, the better for branding purposes.

    I would suggest a name in the range of 12-25 characters, SEO is only one consideration, people being able to remember and type the name is another.
