NEED HELP: My Animated Blog Heading is Inconsistent

Hello,

I got a cute blog template from the web and it has animated heading. However, it sometimes annoys me. When viewing my blog using my laptop, gray blank heading appears instead of my cute animated heading. But when using my brother's desktop, everything looks good. Can somebody tell me what's wrong with my template? Or what application/software does my laptop need to view it correctly? Lastly, how would I know if most readers see my blog heading as gray or not?

By the way, the blog I am referring to is the one on my signature.

Thanks.

    Hi Hunnypop!

Are the browsers on both computers the same? (same version as well?)
Older browsers might have a problem with that image.

Thanks for the tip, David. It seems you are right, the browser is the problem. I tried opening my blog in an Internet Explorer (version 6) and Mozilla Firefox simultaneously and my blog opened correctly in Firefox but not in IE.

      Again, thanks.

I think the problem is that IE 6 doesn't display transparent png images (and it seems that's what your header is using) correctly. Maybe you could change them to .gifs though...

you can put a tag on your blog, what you want.

That transparent .png looks to be just an overlay designed to keep people from stealing the animated .gif below. You might be able to remove the .png overlay, which would solve the gray block issue.

    edit...
I deleted the head4.png file, and the header still displays & animates fine in Firefox 3.5. I don't have IE 6 to test.
