Flash site for IM?

What are the pros and cons of using flash on an ecommerce site? I have a complicated product that I think could benefit from Flash interactivity. Also, some of the flash sites I've seen recently load and change pages incredibly fast. I always thought page loading would be an issue but that seems to have been solved.

I also understand that there are ways to include the equivalent content html for SEO purposes.

As long as the SEO aspect is covered, is there anything else to look out for?

Do any of you designers work with flash? I need some recommendations.

    Hello, I was also wondering if there were any webdesign guru's out there aswell that could also give me some points or advice for example what is the best way to keep the viewer attracted to the site and are there good audio programs that you can suggest to add audio to the site?

    Flash is great, and attractive when used right.

    Where people go wrong is often they OVERKILL the site, by making every button dance ... and making the site a complete nightmare for useability and navigation.

    One or two elements of flash are great for attracting the eye, creating some interactivity and emphasising a 'call to action'.

    But don't go all 'bells and whistles' just for the sake of doing it!

      Just my 2 cents worth but as rule, as soon as I see flash loading I am turned off by it and lots of time dont wait for it to load....

      I do not like sound or music starting with out me doing it especially when I forgot my speakers are turned up LOL , and the little people in the corner even put me off

      I have been buying online since mid to late 90s just give me some professional looking graphic design with well structured copy solving my problem and my CC is half way out .
