Hi,

my website's page/site titles look like this: "Website Name | Some SEO Title"
But I would like them to look like this: "Some SEO Title | Website Name"

I think this could also be a wordpress default setting that I have no idea where or how to change, but if it because of Yoast's SEO plugin, then please give me some advice on how to change this.

The site title only appears when viewing an actual page, but not in the plugin (settings) itself, which makes me even more believe that this is because of wordpress settings.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

So, you talking about the site title or the title inside of your blog. Personally not sure why is happening with the yoast plugin. I have not set my site up in wordpress.org yet, but have my company site that uses yoast.

Not sure what the problem sorry, I could not be more helpful.

In Yoast SEO settings, go to "post types" tab, you will see a page section, is the format there exactly how you want it ?

If yes, then maybe its your theme which is conflicting. You can try changing the <title>....</title> part in your header.php to...<title><?php wp_title(''); ?></title>

If it still doesn't work then you can force title rewrites, in general tab it is the first option.
