I need to put up a quick, cheap site. So many free site builders around I cannot figure out which one. I get stuck in the layout, especially trying to make the header images look professional. Most I have tried do not have more flexibility in terms of size and positioning.

Can you recommend a good free site that is easy to use for non-tech folks like me?

This is a business site

  • hi,

I would definitely go with wordpress, so easy to use and cheap solution, I wouldn't recommend to use free themes you can get paid themes from themforest.net, here you have business templates: Business wordpress | ThemeForest they are around 40 to 50 bucks and most of them have pretty clear instructions on how to set everything up.

    Hope this helps

Here, I would suggest you to use TemplateToaster, WIX or Weebly etc. These are the useful ways to get your themes (or templates) developed in just a couple hours.

I would highly recommend Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal over any 'free' web builder. Wordpress in particular is east to use and install, you can get nice templates and access to a range of functionality (plugins). Especially if you are thinking of your SEO . . . go mobile responsive, go wordpress. I hope this helps. Its my first post in the WF.
