Need someone to get some branding/style

Hi everyone,

I'm building my first web business. I had some money to put into it so got a freelancer to build the site. It was pretty cheap and has successfully completed all the functionality I wanted. Membership portal. Videos etc.

However it looks very messy at the moment. He doesn't seem to have any artistic flair to actually get a nice colour scheme or images that tie it all together and make it look nice.

If I hired someone else to do this could they do that without messing up all the membership plugins and links to different pages etc that I am happy with from a functionality point of view?

What would I need to ask for when briefing someone?

    Tommy - That question can't be answered unless someone takes a look at it. Give Ekushey a chance to see what's going on and WHAT you need to change. If you are asking for genuine help, then allow someone who has already volunteered to help you.

    Yes they should be able to re-design your website without affecting the functionality. Ask them to view some of their work so you can see their style and whether it appeals to you or not. Ask them if their skill set leans towards design or development. There are lots of very talented web designers out there so you shouldn't have any problem locating the one who fits your style and needs. Just don't rush into it and get what you want even if it takes some time. Good Luck
