Hey all, Take a look at this here. I would like to know what they are using to make the 677x214 banner under "Arena Junkies News" shuffle through pictures like that. I dont think its flash, I think its more of a script? How would I go about doing something like this? I really need one for my site. Thanks |

Ok this may be involved, but I know it will work. We can do something similar with dotnetnuke and a module from mandeeps called livecontent. It has a slideshow element that will allow a similar effect. We are doing this on our PLCMentor.com site (much more basic than what you directed us to) on the upper left of the main page. going to dotnetnuke would probably be more than you want to do with an existing site. We are also exploring Joomla with our carolinainvestor.com site and I am sure it will do the same. Once again this is a content management/site development tool that requires modifying your site structure. Neither of these are what arenajunkies are doing. I think theirs is done with custom javascript - beyond me.

You can use one of the javascript libraries to create rotating adds like that. The most popular one is jQuery.
