Good day fellow warriors,

Can I ask your assistance in some wording? I need a friendly announcement in correct english (which is not my 1st language).

It is supposed to have the copyright announcement/disclaimer in it, as well as the offer to contact us, if the site-visitor wants to use pictures or other content for his purpose. 70 - 100 words. Here my rough draft.

Thanks for visiting our website. All rights to pictures, videos and written content are with (our name).
Please respect our work and don't copy and paste, borrow or steal any of our material. We might need to take legal steps, when detecting it.

Feel free to contact us anytime, if you want to use some of it and we sort it out.
You get what I mean. I am just not happy with the wording

Of course we have all "legal stuff" as well on the site, We just want a friendly announcement/disclaimer in the footer of the frontpage.

Thanks for your assistance and have a great weekend ahead.

    How about this?

Thanks for visiting our website. We reserve all rights to pictures, videos, and written content that appears on (site name).

We work very hard to produce this content and would appreciate it if you didn't reuse the content without our express written permission. Please contact us if you would like to use content that appears on (site name).

If we see our content being reused without permission, we will be unfortunately forced to pursue our available legal remedies.
For what it's worth, I am not sure people will respond well to threats. If you want to threaten legal action, you might want to put it into your site's terms of use and just provide a link to those terms at the end of this message and get rid of the last sentence.

A lot of people take threats as a challenge, but may respect an honest request for respect. My two cents.

Thanks a lot for your reply. .. very good point.
I am aware to be often a bit "direct into the face". Yours is certainly more diplomatic
