Wordpress: Authors page

I'm sure most people here use Wordpress, and I was wondering what good solutions do you have for a professional looking authors page?

I usually use freelancers and they're not registered users on my site, but I'd like to add their name, photo and bio in the authors page; however, I can't find anything decent and I'm not a designer myself. Just slapping an image and text doesn't look too good either.

Anybody has any good tips on this? I would really appreciate that!

i usually prefer doing this manually w/o using plugins. but if you're looking for one, maybe you can try this WordPress › Support » WP About Author .

It might be easier to hire someone to do it like you want it. I always do it manually..

You might want to check out woo themes team plugin. I use it on my site for teacher bios. There are a couple of other ones out there too similar to this if it seems like what you want.

Just create a user and bio for each one that you want to credit. You can use nobody1-AT-yoursite.com for the required wordpress email no need to create an actual email account.

don't be concerned about professional looks, be concerned about content and value

do a blog, with great content, Google will love you
