WEB DESIGN

Hi, started a forum for a month now, its called "AdminAds", basically its a promotion forum, were users can promote their websites, sell goods and services.
We also have the addition of forum cash were users can buy webhosting for whole year for free with forum virtual currency.

I would get rid of the "Top Posters" because in truth, who cares who posts the most. I'd also get rid of the right column. As with anything. Keep it simple.

The latest or newest post is fine on top. While the cross hair background on top is fine, the faint green #F0F1E9 looks like office paper. But that's just me. That part looks really bland compared to what you have going. Subtle is good, but pick another hue.

Thanks for the suggestion, great feedback needed this and will remove the top posters as i was also in 2minds with that.

Your idea behind this is so unique and interesting, Your forum interface is quite good but you need to enhance forum's color combination. Choose the color which attract visitors and members thanks.

For an Adds site, it looks nice. Good color combinations. it's a great help for someone who wants to promote their goods and services.

But the thing I've noticed is the background. It's somehow catches my attention than the foreground of the website. Maybe you can do something about it. Other than that. Nice Job!

This is looking really nice, i totally like it. But i have two suggestions for you:
- all the links in the top bar ( Home Forum Search etc ) should have a more distinctive color than the background. Too lighten up. I would go with that brown you use in the background in headers at forum.
- the banner should have different colors. Again, the color red from "ads" its not that distinctive from the background. try some effect like outer glow or something like that if you don't want to change the colors. Something to make it apart from the background.

The logo on the dark background does not have enough contrast. Not only an accessibility issue but looks a bit off. Try a lighter, more solid / flat logo colour instead of the gradien or even white.

Overall it looks really nice, clean and professional! There are two little things that bother me, and these are little things, not really issues with the site.

First, on my current resolution at least, the forum headers appear to be blurry and jagged around the edges. (Premium Classifieds, Admin Zone!, Free Advertising Forum, etc...). I suspect this has to do with the quality of the image used for the header background, which is visibly pixelated. This is a simple fix though, just don't downscale the image as much. If you don't have access to a higher res version of those assets though, maybe recreate it or find something similar, or simply use a solid gradient with the same colors.

Second, and this is really nit-picky, but the blank space reserved for a thread/topic icon really bugs me! You have a circle within a circle, blank space, then the thread title. Simplest fix for this would be to assign a default icon to be used as it seems the majority of your users don't select one when posting.

Just my thoughts, other than that and without having the time to really dig into things everything looks great!
