Default Shopping Cart Options

We have just switched to Infusionsoft for the micro-continuity sites we are running however we are looking for shopping cart software to setup a robust website with potentially thousands of products.

I really am clueless as to what options are out there. I'm a big fan of Brad Fallons My Wedding Favors. Does anyone know what shopping cart powers this website?

The cart they are using could be almost anything....

I use OSCommerce... If you know a bit of PHP, you can go in and edit the look to your hearts content... Just like WordPress, you can do just about anything you want to with it and it is free.

Most Hosting packages offer it as a free install that is a simple one button install....

Hope that helps you out.

Have a Great Day!

A friend of mine uses Prestashop:

PrestaShop Free Open-Source e-Commerce Software for Web 2.0

It may be worth a look. It's open source (free) and he got it installed and running in about a day with a whole range of Jewellery. You can see the result here:

Tanzanite Gems and Jewelry - Tanzanite Gems and Jewelry

Cheers,

Martin.

If you just sell a few products you might want to look into e-junkie.com (it's not only a shopping cart but includes one). I totally love their service... cheap, good-looking and great support.
