Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone knows a good all around WordPress theme for bodybuilding. I would like to use it for building up a list. It seems I can find some bodybuilding themes, but they are more geared towards a gym workout. Or there are just some general themes.. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

    Brian,

You said what your body building business is not about (geared towards a gym workout) but you haven't stated what your niche is about.

My guess is, you could make just about any theme work with the right customization. By adding your own images, header, footer, etc you can do lots of things even with a generic theme.

Okay, yes it is geared toward bodybuilding exercises, tips, nutrition etc. Something like this Sean Nalewanyj | Real, Science-Based Fitness Advice (not like a body building business or gym website).
      Many thanks for your replies.

This really. A good bodybuilding theme is one that you customize a logo and images for your site. There are literally thousands that would serve the purpose well, both free and paid.

Well maybe I'm just too picky. Have spent too much time looking for the right theme.

I always use one of the WordPress.org hosted and developed themes and create a child theme child theme based on them as they are in my opinion the best basis for developing a website for any niche. Installation of a custom header image is simple and will set your site apart from the crowd.

Twenty Ten, Twenty Eleven, Twenty Twelve or Twenty Thirteen (I personally don't care for Twenty Fourteen.)

Use custom page template for each of your "squeeze" or "sales" pages. Page Templates « WordPress Codex

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.
