New to CPA/CPV - Losing money - Help

AD NETWORKS

I'm new here and new to CPA/CPV marketing, so I'm reaching out for help. I watched a webinar that made it look so simple, but I didn't sign up for the $1200 training offered at the end of the webinar. I simply can't afford that. I jumped right in to get my feet wet with Max Bounty and DirectCPV. So far, I've tried 4 campaigns, had no problem getting traffic, but I've had not one single conversion.

The offers I'm using only require email submits and I thought I laser targeted highly relevant URLs. I am using the standard landing pages offered by the advertiser.

Is anyone here willing to give a little direction? How much money should I lose on any one campaign before determining that it's a total fail?So far, I've paused each campaign after hitting 400 impressions without a single conversion.

I probably need a mentor, but I'm happy to just get a few tips. I want to believe that I'm not just throwing away money on something that doesn't really work.

IMO first off ditch directcpv and use a different ppv network.

directcpv sucks, and so does email submits , don't promote anything less than $3

  That's not a good advice. I've personally made thousands with offers that pay less than $3.

  vitavee is right. Saying to no promote something because of the payout, clearly doesn't understand performance marketing.
  
  All that matters is the EPC being higher than your CPC. I've ran offer that only pay $.30 and have made a ton of money because I was paying .001 a click. While my epc was $.002

You told that, passed the campaign and you got 400 impressions & no conversions. first tell me which type of your ad, AD Copy and keywords, so that i will tell give you some tips to your ad. Here you didn't mention clicks, you got the clicks or not. It it is getting, your ad is good or else you have to change the keywords, ad copy and budget also(Google will show occasionally your ad due to low budget).

  mbcmen - I'm speaking of CPV traffic not PPC. I also didn't use keywords--just urls.

  As chrisBa Said ditch directcpv they have rubbish most traffic and are totally useless And try with some better network

hey ive got as well bad expierence with directcpv... lasertargeted urls an keywords. Lp rotation . tried different versions. tried a site like an ad 800x600 like directcpv recommend . not a single optin ... 100 throwed away for fu**ing nothing . so 100bugs left now but i think its all shit.. what are good PPV networks???TrafficVance.com ››

Hi Neshand

To be honest I see two things at work right now, first their is the issue of cost, it appears that your looking to the Internet Marketing Online Niche to get you into financial freedom and secondly it appears you dont have much of a budget to keep you moving forward

their lies the issue, their are great opportunities out there and IM is no different to a bricks and mortar business, you have to understand what we do is a real business.

Like a real bricks and mortar business their are lots of things involved in the sales funnel and if you havent got them in place your going to be throwing money down the drain. I have a real good business coach who is offering an affordable package to help you on your journey.
