Can you tell us which niche you are targeting?

There's lots of scams TRUST ME!
STAY AWAY from Realvisitors and alike. You will see that there's lots of sites looking the same offering a one time payment for lifetime traffic.
This is pure bull! Don't fall for this.

I second this. Purely bot traffic. A total waste of resources.

I would suggest going for a DSP instead with it own bidding platform instead of an ad network.
Good thing about a DSP is that its connected with ad exchanges and networks. Increasing traffic volume. But make sure that your campaign setup is also not too targeted as you may compromise volume. So the trick is, imo not too targeted and not too loose.

while some of these platforms will provide real visits
1000's of real visits dont mean a damn if it doesnt convert.

In relation to conversion traffic facebook is meant to quite good

redirect is known for lower quality traffic..

I'd recommend looking at ppv (50onred or trafficvance) or Bing Ads, or Facebook Ads..

Aside from getting traffic from a network, how about going through a DSP?

Run your campaign thru an RTB platform.
They have multiple targeting options to hyper-target your audience or have a broad scope.

Just invest your money with Google Adwors or Facebook Ads.
With these options you are 100% sure that the traffic is real and they offer the best ways to target your audience.
I know you are looking for CPM but in my opinion PPC is much better.

Bing ads is pretty cheap compared to google and facebook can be even cheaper if done right. For ppv i'd go with media traffic, if you're just starting out and have a small budget and then move up to propel(TrafficVance).
