Does Facebook really hate affiliate marketer? I plan to place some ads soon and i believe as long as there are no affiliate links (masked or not), all is good. Whats the truth?

Truth is there are marketers already spent millions of dollars in FB ads, imagine what’s about revenue. Experts are making tutorials and making also a million dollar market.

And I am talking about Affiliate Marketers

  • They just hate stupid affiliates, read their ToS,
have privacy policies in place if you're going for
an opt-in, try to have to have micro-commitments
so your bounce rate doesn't ruin your Account Quality
    Score.

And make sure the WoT - web of trust - is
green for whatever site you're promoting.

If you stay compliant and properly advertise,
there's no problem. There are hundred of
affiliates using FB ads the right way with
    zero troubles.

I honestly don't think they hate affiliate marketers..
I do believe they would rather work direct with merchants
At the same time they want to ensure that scammy or poor quality offers do not hurt their "user experience"

They like affiliates as long as you follow their terms. They are really restrictive though on certain niches such as dating or payday offers, and on any landing pages that appear to provide false claims, like loose 20 lbs in two weeks, or make a million dollars in one week.. etc. There are thousands of affiliates though making bank through Facebook, you just have to know how to run the right ads to be profitable and what type ads are permitted. It is all about testing, testing, and more testing, and then scaling once you have found out what works.
