Qwaya / Ad Espresso -> Facebook

Anyone using Qwaya and/or AdEspresso with their Facebook account?
I got them as trials, but i am not that impressed.
Its good that you can duplicate ads fast and save time on publish
but you don't save much time if you are experienced with Power Editor.

I want to hear your thoughts on these 2 services.
Do they worth getting any of them and why?
Have you seen productivity improvements after you got Qwaya or AdEspresso?

All the best,
-Dennis

I tried Ad Espresso for a bit. I liked the built-in ad editor and ability to search for stock photos easily in the application. I also liked the ability to split test ads easily and the reports page was very visually appealing to me...making it easy to see what was working and what was not. I haven't signed up as a paying customer yet, but I am considering it. I also tested Qwaya awhile ago but it seemed to be a lot more difficult to use than Ad Espresso. So of the two, my bias is toward Ad Espresso for what it is worth.

    • Hi Dennis,

      go with Qwaya.

It's what the pros use (I use it in my own agency), and there's a reason for it: it gives you much better control on scheduling ads and pausing / un-pausing campaigns.

For instance, you probably know that ads get fatigued very quickly on Facebook (especially if you run them as NewsFeed ads), so it's best practice to create many ads and test them until you find 10 winners.

Once you have these 10 performing ads, you put them on a running schedule so that each ad runs for just 3 days: this means that your audience will see an ad for 3 days, then a different ad for 3 days and so on.

They will not see the same ad again for a month (10 ads x 3 days each = 30 days), and that's what prevent "banner blindness" and makes sure your campaign is effective.

You can't do this kind of stuff in Power Editor (at least, not if you want to automate it).

Qwaya looks good but for just starting out $149/month is pretty steep. I guess its worth testing the trial version to see if it is worth the investment.

I ran through the trial version of adespresso. There's some things I like and things I don't. They don't let you use stock images like if you were to build ads within Facebook so I don't really use it.
