CTR is High, But no conversion, Why?

I run an offer of Alibaba, targeting US market with CPC format.
There are 3 offer links in the landing page, the statistics show about 500 clicks of total 1200 clicks, the CTR is about 50% but no conversion. I am really confused.
Anyone can give some analysis?

Are your ads or landing pages deceptive in any way? Perhaps the offer is junk? Where are you getting your traffic?

You seem to have an Ad --> Landing Page --> Offer mismatch somewhere. In other words, there's no "ad congruency". Make sure your ads, landing page, and offer are in harmony and that your visitors get what is stated.

Also, focus on getting only one "action" on your landing page. Don't offer multiple "click" options.

High CTR - people are clicking on your ads - Good.

No conversions - people are NOT offered with the solution that they intend to grab after reading your ad.

The problem could be in ad, your product or landing page.

But I personally feel, since you are using three different offer links (don't know whether these are the links to same product or different products). If you are promoting 3 different products or if your promoting 3 related products on the landing page - you have your culprit. One product at a time.

How would you feel if you click on an ad and land on a page with 3 different products to choose from? Your best bet would be to close the browser and search for the 3 products in Google, compare them all and choose the one that you want. Something similar is going with your audience too.

Make sure that when they land on your landing page, they do not have to decide then to whether buy or not to buy the product - that is presell the solution in your ad copy.

    Here is what to do.

    1. Send traffic to a squeeze page to capture the email addresses of the people. This way even if they do not buy the product, they will still be in your list. Imagine.........
    2. Offer them with one and only one product at a time.
    3. Presell the product strongly.
    4. Be honest with the audience.

That's a very high CTR, it sounds like the page might be designed more to get click throughs than to pre-sell.. can you give us more details around it?

A good example of this is in this thread (http://www.warriorforum.com/ad-netwo...-revealed.html).. this LP had a crazy CTR but bad conversion rate, and this is likely because it doesn't pre-sell at all..

High CTR with no conversions means that the visitor is not getting what he expects at your website after clicking through.
Alibaba is an ecommerece offer, so if you let the visitor know in the ad have to buy something by saying something like "for $xx only!" You will have lower CTR but you will have visitors clicking through that are looking to buy hence higher conversions

Probably because you are not reaching out to the right audiences. You have to make sure you place your ads on websites relevant to your product/niche.
