Got Advice?

Hello Warriors,

I have the day off of work today so I thought id spend by day figuring out how to change my skills (if needed) to something updated. I love extra info, so anything you got that I don't have listed Id love to add to my list!

Here's how I search for my keywords:
  1. Simply Google searching my category.
  2. Google display planner.
  3. I also look at the demographics (Alexa, Google Trends, Quantcast)
  4. I also use a mixture of other websites that puts out similar websites related to my category.


Here's how I create a landing page:
  1. Firstly, I find myself a image related to my exact category.
  2. I then take that image to Photoshop to get it re sized(750px by 400px). There I can have my own personal text and its affect added to it.
  3. I then take that completed image to Kompozer or dreamweaver to get it "web authorized". I add audio if can be done.
  4. Then I head over to something like filezilla and upload it to my website.

Just some extra info:
  • I currently am not using squeeze pages (If i was someone who was to click on an ad and look to fill out the info, I would not be interested in doing even more work by filling out a squeeze page)
  • I use audio on some of my ads where it can work out.
  • I use Prosper202 to track my keywords.
  • I don't really know how to split test landing pages with Prosper202. Id love any advice of how i can do that or if you have another method.

    Anything such as keyword searching methods that i dont have listed would be appreciated a ton. Or maybe like a way to look at my competition better? i heard blackpops is goo for that but ive seen nobody talk about it so i havent bought it.

      Ad keywords by Google is a free tool.
      i can make quick video showing you what i mean if ur not sure.

      Checking out demographics is awesome ... i like Alexa as its free. Gives me the demos enough to move on.
      Do you use FB search bar?

      Can I ask the diff b/t ur definition of landing page and squeeze page?

        Thank you very much for your response!

        My definition of a squeeze page would be what the person going to fill out your offer initially sees(when they click on your landing page). This would be a simple page offering something and the user would have to input their email address.

        My definition of a landing page would be the thing that pulls the user in. Like if you were promoting a game called World of Warcraft, it would be a action shot of something to do with World of Warcraft.

        I don't have a squeeze page currently on my offer so i am not list building. Im not collecting anyones emails.

      wow all that work and your not building a list? if your investing that much time and money you should list build. if not what is the point?

    First thing you need quality landing pages if you want to collect prospects i am assuming you are not building a email list? This is a must people don't even buy online until 5 or 6th look see. Having a sign up form on your landing , squeeze pages is a must.

    Suggestions: go to traffic wave, or aweber sign up for a auto responder account. Trafficwave is cheaper and allows unlimited subscribers, and you can create a sign up form there that can be loaded into your webpages. Aweber offers the same support but is more expensive but there demographic tracking is much better.
