I would actually go to the WSO section and look for CPA products. Grab a few of them, learn a strategy and start working on it. It doesn't necessarily need to be paid traffic.

The best way is still the "learning by doing" approach. Pick a good CPA/CPL market and try to reverse engineer what you currently see out there. Wherever there is competition, there is money to be made.

For instance, I mostly do finance CPA campaigns ... so when I launch a new site I have a look what other lead generation websites are currently bidding on the most obvious keywords, what layout structures they use, etc.

Then I simply create something similar but always try to add my own personal touch to make it unique but most importantly improve on it as much as I can to boost conversions while still trying to keep quality high at the same time. Remember that there is usually no need to completely re-invent the wheel, so getting actual market data is crucial in launching a similar CPA campaign (including site layout, design, ads and keywords).

For traffic, I would also stick to pure paid traffic sources such as Adwords and now also a bit of Facebook PPC, which is slightly cheaper than Adwords.

Hi, try free traffic method to promote your landing page. Use leadpage or instapage for making a landing page if you don't know how to create a landing page by scratch. You can try paid traffic method too, like solo advertisements, use safe-swaps website.

First off, as much as doing is the best way to gain experience, I think it's a good idea that you want to expand on your knowledge a bit more before you dive in head first. Too many affiliates forget that it is beneficial to have a solid understanding of how everything works before you start spending money.

I've heard good things about the two courses you mentioned, I'd imagine either could provide you with the information that you're looking for.

There's some resources on the MaxBounty blog (link below) regarding landing pages and a few paid traffic sources like PPV networks as well. Might be a good idea to take a look around for some additional free information.

Have you signed up to any CPA networks yet?

Both STM and affplaybook are great choices IMO.

Maxbounty is fairly relaxed, why not just apply ?
