Advice needed on affiliate marketing

Hello Warriors

I am about to at last get my teeth into affiliate marketing, and will soon be promoting Peerfly, Clickbank and other offers.

Please can you recommend an excellent training course for me. This could a WSO or something entirely different. I need to cut through the noise and get straight into some quality training, rather than find bits here and there on the Net myself.

Thanks in advance for your assistance guys.

Regards,
Rick

    Hi Rick,

"Peerfly" and "ClickBank" are perhaps unlikely to be covered by the same course, because Peerfly is a CPA network and ClickBank an affiliate marketing network. They're really two very different learning-curves, albeit with one or two commonalities as well.

The CPA folder is here: Ad Networks (CPM/CPL, Display, SEM)

For ClickBank, you could perhaps start here, with the "fundamentals" of successful affiliate promotion: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7110523

If it helps, this is certainly the best overall affiliate marketing course I've ever seen: Affiliate marketing training for beginners

What Alexa said. First choose your money method and then learn about it and become an expert.
Similarly, when you go to college, you can't study everything.

I haven't taken this course myself, but it's free and has a 4.5 rating (out of 5): Clickbank Affiliate Training

    Good luck!

    Hey Rick,
I used to promote an excellent Product by Steve Scott called Affiliate Marketing without the bulls@t !!

Parts of it are really just plain great material. A very solid course.

You can google it and find it

Well first of all, THANK you for not making the usual post

    "I'm a newbie, how do I make $6,000 overnight"

OR the famous and dreaded "if you had to start over..."

So, having said that - a few courses I like and recommend frequently are:

Google Sniper 3: Great for the BASICS of building your own website and ranking it
Profit Academy, by Anik Singal: Full course on List Building and product creation

The prices vary on those two greatly, and I believe PA is only available for the 2nd half of this month and the first week of March

    Anyways, good luck!

Some of the affiliate marketing stuff you see online (that are free) are actually pretty good. Just learn how to discern B.S. from real effectiveness. Study on the warriorforum daily... it's like a LIVE 24/7 seminar within itself.

My suggestion to you is to study proper affiliate marketing from somebody that has experience and can give you step by step directions. Otherwise you are likely to be stuck spinning your wheels, getting no where quick.

    Rick,

And if you are going to get into email marketing to market those products, I recommend a good mentor by the name:

Terry Dean of TerryDean.org. He is one of the best coaches online when it comes to email marketing and making your business a success. I have been following him for years and he is one of the best.

Affiliate marketing is a great way to start your online business because you do not have to spend a lot of time trying to create your own products. If you go about it properly, you can start making money right away. However, what you are talking about with Peer-fly is CPA marketing which is very different because you can be paid as little as $1 for your effort even if it is just making someone put in their email address. It may sound simple until you look at all the restrictions for promoting. They may not allow you to use certain proven methods of promotion such as email marketing so you have to put on your thinking cap and be very creative. On the other hand, you can promote offers that pay more but they may require approval and you may have to jump through hops to do this.

This forum has many courses for both. Look for the ones that made it to WSO of the day.I just wanted to give you advice on what to look out for what you do buy a course.

I joined a forum Stack that money for a few months and there's a lot to learn from there.

It would be where I spend time if I wanted to go down this route.

    Good luck.

I am pretty new to it myself, and I am quickly learning that I need to target my studies with as much diligence as my marketing efforts. Even PPC looks simple on the surface. Right an ad and exchange money for clicks. But, there is a lot of little specifics under the hood that will make the difference between true success and the next person to be posting "PPC is a waste of money!" I am currently trying to be as specific with my methods during planning, and then study each step involved in great detail, and test everything I can. But there are so many possible paths, it gets hard to stay on track now and then.
