Adsense and keywords...

Let's say a user clicked on one of my Adsense ads and I got paid for that click. Here's my question. Is there a way to know what keyword that user typed in Google to land on my website? Is this possible?

Not that I know of, but that would be very helpful to know. I would e-mail support and see if their analytics are capable of doing this.

addfreestats has this quality. It also shows an exist link with logo "A" if a visitor clicked an ad on the site. It also tracks the user keywords, coming from.
    Hope it helps...

Yeah, and it also inserts an ugly ad in the footer of your website. Thanks, but no thanks.

No. It's no longer possible to know the keywords typed in Google that led the user to your website. You would have noticed that Goolge uses "https://" instead of "http://" in its Search Engine page. The user information is encrypted hence destroying your ability to find the searched keywords.

When Google made the transfer from http to https, the reason given was that it needed to "protect the privacy of its users". But many SEO analysts believe it was done to boost the use of Google Adwords, which does give you the keywords that were searched for.

I remember wondering the same thing when I was big on Adsense and tracking it. Google Analytics was able to do this back then, You could see the keywords people typed in the searches to get to your website. I am pretty sure they still have this feature, definitely worth checking out.
