$500 Adblade Campaign Case Study
I just wanted to share with you some the results I got testing out the Adblade network. The promotion was to generate leads for a high ticket home appliance in the health / wellness category and ran in the middle of Feb 2015.

This was our best performing ad in terms of CTR with 0.14% CTR

If we reran this campaign, we'd drop this add first thing CTR 0.02% CTR

Served the most impressions with 1.5 million and a 0.06% CTR
Adblade Pros: CPC starts at $0.50 - or $1.50 CPM. Broad reach. Over 2 million impressions. Casts a "wide net". Creatives get approved within 24 hours, for "timely" ads.
Adblade Cons: Lack of demographic targeting, system overspends your set budget, threat of losing impressions if you don't raise your CPC bid in the beginning due to quality score.
Overall we spent $500 USD over the 3 day campaign. The third creative sank most of our budget, despite the higher CTR of the first creative. Our goal here was to achieve at $25 cost per lead, as we have a 15-25% close rate on leads over 90 days with out follow up campaign. Cost per lead was actually, $55.25 and the leads were low quality.
The analytics / heatmap for our landing page for the Adblade campaign also showed significantly less engagement from visitors (approx. 75% less than other broad reach campaigns we've run).
Judgement: For our lead based / high ticket business model we're not likely to use Adblade again in this same fashion.
