YouTube Ad Partner Networks

Hi guys,

I keep getting offers from different YouTube Ad Network Partner Programs for my YouTube channel and would appreciate a little input if anyone knows anything.

My YouTube channel has about 30k subscribers and views in the millions. I roughly get about 15k views per day.

They claim to pay 5$-20$ per thousand views which would be much better than what I currently make from my views. I roughly get about 15$-25$/day for adsense monetized videos. The offer is definitely enticing, I just don't know how legit they are. I've tried to do research and some people have complained that they are all scams, they take over your channel and you can never get away and the cut they take is very large.

Does anyone have any input or experience partnering with one? Do you know which ones are legit and which ones that aren't?

I just got an offer from Unique Network | Know Your Talent a day ago - seem kind of legit but the .tv tld is a red flag to me along with their twitter account.

Any input would be greatly appreciated

Thanks Guys!

JT

I bet they are referring to gross CPM. But that is not what you'd earn. That is just what the advertiser is paying per thousand impressions. That figure is then reduced because not all of your views will be monetized. Then YouTube takes its cut of 45% and then that network will take its cut (checking their website, they take 20%)

20% is a lot, way too much. There are better deals out there. But here's the truth - Most networks don't even have their own ad sales team. So that means, they are serving adsense ads to your channel. So what's the point? You already get adsense ads by being a Youtube adsense partner and you get to keep all the revenue. This network will be serving you the exact same ads but will be taking 20% of your revenue.

Ask them for proof that they have their own ad sales team. (They definitely don't because if they did, that'd be a huge selling point for them on their website)

Ask them for their definition of "5$-20$ per thousand views" Is that CPM or RPM and then ask them to define CPM and RPM.

I just checked out their website and any company that doesn't even have a physical address and phone number or any details about who they are or where they are is a big no-no to me. For info, a lot of these so-called networks are sub-networks run by 15 year kids. I'm not saying they're a scam, but I really doubt you'd be better off under them.

That makes perfect sense Winning! I really appreciate the reply. It's funny because I'm finding that there is very limited information of Partner Programs online, just personal experience and it seems like the majority are scams in fact. Thanks also for the sales team info. I didn't even think about that. I'm taking your advice and sticking with going at it alone.

Thanks Winning! I owe you one

If you hold the permission of your own channel, I don't think there's anything to worry about mate.

I've met people that use my idea just after I told them, and dump me straight away, use of my skill dump me straight away, and use my knowledge etc.

The important thing is you hold the power, administration of your channel.

Try them if you can, it's a good offering though.

Paying more than AdSense looks scam, ask them to pay an upfront fee to monetize their ads.
These type of programs come and go in these days. They had offered you much money might they have advertisers to pay great rate.

Firstly, Congratulation for your success on YouTube.
Secondly, i didn't think so that a network can give you $5-$20 per thousand views.
