Any Luck with Bing Ads?

Hey all!

I wanted to post this as I am curious to see if anyone has had any success with Bing Ads?

While you can still direct link, it's obvious to still build a list in whatever niche you are promoting, and I am well aware of that.

However, I'm not going to build out a funnel for each specific product/niche being promoted.. so has anyone has any success promoting as an affiliate on Bing Ads?

If so, what did you use?

ClickBank (or other digital marketplaces)
Peerfly (or other CPA networks)
JV Zoo (for direct PayPal payments)
Share-a-Sale (or other tangible product marketplaces)

Any thoughts/ideas?

Bing ads is one of the best ppc traffic sources imo.

I've used offers from peerfly, maxbounty, a4d, etc

Are you direct linking to the CPA offers or to your own squeeze page?

I have done some direct linking on Bing to Clickbank sales pages and with some campaigns I have done well and with others nothing.

I always test between direct linking and different landing pages, I admittedly do not build lists as often as I should..

Try using a landing page to presell the visitor opposed to direct linking, this should help increase your conversions

Hey chris, where do you put the tracking pixel in peerfly if you are using cpvlab for tracking in peerfly?

This is true. You just need to find profitable campaign with a lot of testing.

Is that via building a list or do you use a landing page then link to the offer?

What types of offers do you think are better? I had a campaign where I was targeting a niche where I got 800 clicks with 11 optins and it was a leadpages optin. I'm really considering taking my 1 cent clicks campaign and just direct linking....guys I got 6,200 clicks for $33 bucks. The problem is my link was broken the whole time....sooo

Bing works great for me and all of my students. You can achieve a great ROI and while the traffic is much less than Adwords, the quality it great. Plus, the prices are cheaper and competition is less.

    Good luck

Not sure about quality.. the top 10 highest search KWs in 2014 from Yahoo were all celebs lol

Can you tell me if you are linking to a blog or if you're just shooting them to an optin page? My main concern with an optin page is it lowers the page quality. But when you add content to a squeeze page, it entirely defeats the purpose.

So isn't this a catch 22? You either get a poor quality score to a high converting squeeze page, or a higher quality score to a page that doesn't convert?

    **UPDATE**

I setup a "PPC friendly" LeadPages site and optimized it. I tested 71 clicks for about $10 and got 1 lead

To me, it's a clear NO as far as profitability, even though the sample test was small. If 71 people come a landing page, even on horrific traffic, more than ONE person should optin.

These are just my thoughts.. as long as someone here posts that they have good results, others will continue to test.

    More power to ya!

How much have you spent so far on traffic?

It must have something to do with your marketing strategy because there are many people who've had success with Bing.

I've had a loss of $200, but I was direct linking to CB. Clearly, that isn't the way to succeed with Bing.

    Any Luck with Bing Ads?

I think you know the answer to this. It is why you are interested in Bing - 'cause a bunch of IMers are saying it is doing well.

It's fun when you only periodically visit here - the 'trends' jump out at you. Like Bing, now. Everyone wants to know about how to 'use' Bing.

I'm not a 'Super Affiliate', or anything resembling that so take that with my opinion, but I look at Bing and I say that everyone should get ready for direct linking to offers to go bye-bye within a year or two, once Bing gets tired of the SAME stuff other major traffic sources got tired of from IMers - after they get lots 'o cash outta all ya'll, first, as they refine their advertising platform and policies, software, etc.

Bing, with all of the discussion about how awesome it is today, is setup to get abused to death by IMers, just like Google and FB. I'd love to see their statistics for the last 6 months and see how many IMers have created an account in that time.

Affiliate marketing is a fascinating industry. There are those who look for 'tactics/loopholes/etc.', and those that seem to focus on long term time investments and marketing strategies that won't get 'shut down'.

Yes. Bing works (obviously). Everyone here knows that, as the 'talk' these days is about how awesome Bing is. I'm sure you can find some Bing WSOs, too. But, if you are looking to Bing because they allow things like direct linking and it is 'easier' for IMers, well, ride that wave while ya can, 'cause it is headed for the rocky shores, where all of the 'direct link/semi cheesy' IM surfers are gonna crash ...

You can direct link, but Bing doesn't allow landing pages which have auto play videos or exit popups, so that maybe why it got rejected.

What did the rejected message say?
