One of My Favorite Ways of Making $25+ Per Day with CPA Offers....

I've seen this topic come up quite often lately about making money with polls, so I thought I'd share my exact process for making easy money with CPA offers daily using this technique.

We all know that using the poll method with CPA offers is nothing new, but doing it the right way can and will earn you good money each day as I can prove that. Just create a poll like "Do You Think People Should Drive While Talking on Their Cell Phone" and then have your affiliate link to YES or NO underneath.

When I first tried the poll method I was trying PPC and wasting a lot of money on it. So I then went to the free traffic method.

Here's how I earn daily with this method:

1. Find a niche using Google trends. There are new trends everyday that people are searching for.

2. Write an article about the topic and submit to the top article sites with a link to your poll. Some article sites allow you to direct link to your affiliate offer.

3. In your article make sure you use the title as your keyword phrase you are targeting and a couple times throughout the article.

4. Only use article sites that get you approved for the article instantly. Otherwise in the next few days, the trend can be over and the search volume is very low.

I can usually get a few hundred views on my article and sometimes thousands of views per day which then turn into anywhere from $5 to $25 per day in CPA email / zip submit leads.

This method does require you to submit articles each day, but I can usually get one done in under 5 minutes and doing this several times per week usually adds up to a good some of money without spending a dime on traffic.

Feel free to ask any questions or more in detail about this method.

  • hello,

    thanks for advice.

can u explain further about step #1? How actually u select the nice?

    • Sure no problem, and great question.

If you go to this link: Google Trends you will see all the hot searches people are doing at the moment.

Select a topic that is near the top and interests you as you will need to write an article on it. Once you've found the topic, "google" it and get some background and information on it, and write the article by rephrasing what you just found during your search.

For example, when Chris Brown and Rihanna got into a fight and he whacked her, (I wrote an article about what had happened), then included a poll like this:

"Should Chris Brown Go To Jail for His Actions". The topic was red hot for weeks and even months afterwards that I got thousands of article views which turned into lots of leads.

  • Good way to make money, add some keyword research to figure out what to promote with Google Trends and you could definitely do some damage
  • Thanks for sharing. Sure seems like timing is the big key here. Do hot trends disappear that quickly? Guess I never followed many.

    • Posting this same identical text and/or just saying "I agree" or "thanks" in ~30 threads is the formula for having your account banned and deleted.

Read the forum rules and add value when you post.

  • Hi, dropship...In #2, which ones allow you to place direct links to your affiliate offer? I haven't come across one as yet. Thanks in advance for your help.
    • [1] reply
    • GoArticles allow that!

Be good to hear of anymore.
  • Now I have a strong feeling that dropship is NOT ONLY a smart guy, but also a VERY NICE guy! Really appreaciate your input.

  • does anyone know of places to publish articles aside from goarticles?
  • Hi,
Thanks, love this post, I have been looking into using hot trends and was wondering how to apply them.
I am just starting out with CPA and found that you guys here have lots of awesome info, thanks for that. I have my first (and only for now) account with maxbounty and I am wondering:
Do I need to direct traffic to a website from Goarticles or can I use my CPA offer directly as the landing page? If I am leading back to my own website and not the landing page, what should be on it? My thought would be repeat the article and post the CPA offer there?
Also, is there a way to send someone directly to the cpa landing page and then back to my site? I cannot add a code to their landing page to do this, right? Any help would save me a ton of time in research here! Thanks

    • To ChrisBa,ezine is good and you can find more on the web. It's better if you can submit on high PR article directories for more exposure of your article.
    • Jen,

You will need to have a landing page because that is where the poll will be. Also, it is best to have a picture and text (maybe an excerpt from an article) on the landing page with the poll. You need to put the poll above the fold. This is what I have found from reading about polls.

I would like to mention one thing that you will find most ebooks will not. You will need to buy a domain unless you can direct traffic to a free site like blogger, weebly or wordpress. A domain generally cost you about $10. So it may take a day or two before you are in the green.

      Michael

    • Actually, with some of the article sites that I've already mentioned, you can link directly to the merchant offer without using a landing page.

Sometimes the trend won't last long, so it's not worth the time to create a landing page, so I'll just send my visitors directly to the email/zip submit offer.
  • done that ... and can say it worked. Had many visits under the keyword " new psp " , although did that for te writing, not the money, having no advetising methods back then. . danielfive.com
  • Am I missing something, or is the poll just a ploy to get them to click on a link to take them to the CPA offer. You are not really conducting a poll are you? There is no count or tally of how many people clicked which answer, correct?
  • he could have just entered he's link ... at least he tried doing some nice info.
  • I think regular update article or blog can easily give a good possibility to earn more. The main thing you have to notice that you continue your article under some strong keywords as well as it will be better if you give linked article to previous one.

  • Help me understand the psychology behind this method. Why is someone more likely to submit their email address for a free Target Gift Card, just because they took a poll about Michael Jackson?
  • Isn't there some plugin that could keep a real tally of the votes? This would make it a proper poll, also if I understand this right the yes/no is just a link to your article? Will Ezine let you do that? I have yet to try some more article directories, but writing lots of articles does not yet come easy.
Your post is very useful and I will try to follow this advice, thanks.
    • [1] reply
    • Yes there are many free polls like MicroPoll or PollDaddy that you can put on your site. Some article directories won't accept certain code like java or PHP so it depends on what the software has for output code.

The yes/no is a link to the CPA offer or my landing page depending on how I want to set it up. Some trends don't last long so it's not worth the time to setup a landing page in this case I direct link to the CPA offer. I don't use Ezine for this method as by the time they approve your article, the spike in the traffic is over.

Writing each article for me only takes me about 5 minutes, so I can pump out about 10 per day in just an hour of work. Sure it takes time and you can also outsource article writing and get them as cheap as $2 an article. If you are just starting out or just want to get free instant traffic, it's a good way to earn 100% profit on your leads.
      • [2] replies
  • that's a really good, simple, straightforward method. Will surely try it out, as I am getting into exploiting Google Trends and Zeitgeist, too.

  • I want to know if there is any wordpress plugin to create polls
    • [2] replies
    • there is WP Polls: wordpress(dot)org/extend/plugins/wp-polls/

haven't used it nor know anybody that has, so I cannot comment on how good / useful it is. There are several versions. The latest is compatible with WP 2.8 & up. If you are running WP 2.7, make sure to get a previous version (v2.40) of WP Polls at: lesterchan(dot)net/wordpress/readme/wp-polls.html

you need to put replace the (dot) with .

(sorry, don't have enough post counts to post real hyperlinks on the forum)

  • I think the idea is to grab them emotionally and compel them to click via the poll.
  • I was thinking along the terms of crum6178's question. It occurred to me that maybe I would ask them to take the poll and tell them that they would then be eligible to receive a gift card, or what ever it was I was trying to promote. Kind of like, if you answer my poll question you can get a free what ever for your trouble.
    • [1] reply

    • Yes, that's what I do. Here's my example:

      "QUICK POLL

Do You Think OctoMom Should Get Rid of Some of Her Kids?

VOTE YES (Affiliate Link to CPA Offer subid=Yes) / VOTE NO (Affiliate Link to CPA Offer subid=NO

(Vote For Your Chance to Win A $500 WalMart Gift Card)"

That's my exact scenario, so it does tell them below the vote that they get a chance to win if they choose to participate.

  • This is the best information I have seen on making money with CPA offers. My only obstacle is figuring out how to write the articles. My article writing talents stink. I have been trying to find rewriting software that will do a reasonable job. One way or another, I got to figure out how to get articles written, quickly.

  • as for the domain name thing. DO i just buy a domain name and rediret that link to the offer link and keep doing that for every offer i have? wouldn't i spend alot on domains?

also,... how many articles were u writing a day to make 25+
  • I know that ehow automatically approves articles but I am not sure if they would work well in this situation.
  • Yeah I do something similar to this made like 528.00 last week. I even finished a $67.00 course explaining the technique it works!!
  • I am just beginning CPA and is there any other article directory sites that accept a link to your poll. As an article writer for ten years I have never had much success with Goarticles. Thanks

    • dropship thank you for this info it's very useful but I do have a few questions.

If I'm correct, you put your Yes/No poll links inside the article that is published on article directory? Right?
You said some of these don't allow affiliate links so you link to your landing page. So you put the same Yes/No links inside the article and those links lead people to your Landing Page now?
If that is the case, what do you put on your landing page since you already used poll inside the article?
  • can we used ppc such as adwords to send traffic to aff link?
    many thanks
  • How many articles do you write in a day? Can you give us a few examples of previous articles that have worked for you.

    Thanks.
    • [1] reply
    • This is not my primary method as there are so many other methods that I use to combine my overall income, but it's one of the easiest ones to setup. One of my last articles (which is explained in my latest WSO) made me a total of $1,600 in just 4 days! So if you know how to find the niches, you can make bank!

You can use the same domain name for each redirect as you can make sub pages or directories like this: www.domain.com/octomom or domain.com/michael-jackson

It's not really about how many articles you write, it's about finding the "hot" and high paying niches. Typically I'll write 2-5 a day to get that income level but it fluctuates so much because I only wrote one article last week that brought in $1,600!

I've never tried ehow, but that would be something to definitely look into if you can get the articles approved right away.

There's always still interest in a google trend, I wouldn't pay much attention to the graph that much. Maybe the peak is down, but it still doesn't matter to me because there are still a ton of searches on that term and maybe just into different phrases.

      1. Correct
      2. No, I just redirect the affiliate links using my own domain name.

Yes you can, but PPC doesn't work very well as your ad campaigns would get slapped pretty quick for sending traffic to something like that.

      It's not really about how many articles you write, it's about finding the "hot" and high paying niches.   • OK so let me get this straight;

Step 1: Look on Google trends for something popular.
Step 2: Write an article relevant to the trend chosen
Step 3: Choose a general CPA product to promote
Step 4: Add links to the CPA product in the Article. So it looks like when they click the links they will get to choose a poll option but instead are taken to aff page.
Step 5: Submit article to several directories and wherever else
Step 6: Sit back watch the moulah role in?

    Is this correct?
  • Williboy104 - #4 is incorrect as I understand it. The link you are getting them to click IS THE POLL. You are getting them to answer the poll and which ever choice they make takes them to the CPA offer. As Dropship stated in an earlier post, he tells them, answer this poll and you can enter your informatiion to get a what ever your CPA offer is. Check back through the thread to get the exact words he used.
  • That's correct, the YES / NO text within the article are the actual affiliate links sent to the CPA offer. (Make sure you use a redirection though as some article sites won't allow direct affiliate links there)
  • Hi, dropship,

Articlesbase will not approve your articles automatically at the beginning and then after you submit some articles, they will approve your articles automatically. So what's the number of the articles you have to submit to them so as to get approved automatically?
  • sorry, but what is an email/zip offer exactly?
because if you ask people to vote and they are taken to an affiliate page which a product they dont need then they will never give you leads?

EDIT: I just read what type of offers email/zip are. Now I understand the full package. What CPA's do you recommend?

  • Hi Dropship
    One question I have:
Is linking to the CPA offer via the yes/no link - is that within the TOS of CPA Networks?

    Thanks
  • It should be ok if you use offers that can use incentives but you will be in trouble with others.
    • [2] replies
    • hi bro...any example link @ article you have done?
i'm newbie and excited to learn about CPA income. thank
    • What is the incentive you see in this? There is no reward or incentive for these offers as it is outlined by dropship. You could fashion it with an incentive if you find such offers to promote, but I don't know why you would want to. If you follow the outline as laid out, this is just a simple article, with a link that is part of a poll. You answer the poll question and are taken to the offer and hopefully the person will fill it out. Never is there an offer of payment or reward for doing so.

  • " In your article make sure you use the title as your keyword phrase you are targeting and a couple times throughout the article."

This is the main thing I am trying to get my head wrapped around. Do I create an article based on a keyword? What kind of research do I need to do to find that key word?

I hope I'm not asking a stupid question....

    Thanks in advance.
    • [1] reply
    • I can't remember as I was auto approved awhile ago, but I'm guessing it's either 10 or 20. I tried a new account and submitted 10, so I will let you know if that is the magic number :-)

The major ones that everyone else uses: Azoogle, Hydra, Neverblue, etc. There's no secret one...

Not that I'm aware of and I've never had any problems, but always check your offers special instructions if there are any.

Real live examples are in my latest WSO. :-)

Yes, base the article around the keyword. Whatever keyword you are targeting MUST be in your title, then a couple times throughout the article which will give you the article content. Just google the term for the research and summarize what you've read.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • i dont know how stupid this question is but i dont know the answer lol.....

How do you redirect people to your affiliate page on submission of a vote?
    • [1] reply
    • There is no such thing as a stupid question, only stupid answers, sometimes.

The answer to your question is that your answers will be links. Lets say the answers could be yes or no. So you put a hyperlink in each answer to your affiliate offer. I made the code to one of my offers and put it in a jpg which you should see below. This is just something I was looking at today and I don't have any campaigns running for it, but it should answer your question. Notice that the link for both answers is exactly the same. You don't care which way they answer, just that they go to your offer.

      • [ 3 ] Thanks
  • thank you very much for your reply.... just wondering how do i incorperate this with the poll sites dropship specified earlier in this thread?
    • [1] reply
    • ok i have had a little play and edited your code a little to make it stand out a bit mroe...... is this the sort of thing that would work.

      <TR> <TD><b>Are you male or female?</b></TD> </TR>

      <TR> <TD><a href="http://www.Domain.com">female</a></TD> </TR>
      </TABLE>
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • This also works for youtube. If you look at the google hot trends and then do an exact search for those terms at youtube, oftentimes you will find videos with CPA offers. And they have those scrips that make you fill out a survey or fill out your choice of 3 offers to get access to the content. This is one method that i have been meaning on trying.

    • Thanks Tim for all your responses as you're exactly right in everything you've mentioned.

That is an interesting concept, but I don't know how quick YouTube is actually indexed by Google. I guess you would get traffic from people just going directly to YouTube and then searching for the phrase or trend.

That might be something I will test out and post my results later on.
      • [1] reply
  • Conners88, I think you got it right. I didn't put the code into a page to check, but just from my limited knowledge it looks right. As you pointed out, the code I showed is very primitive, and would need to be formatted so it looked good. A table would be a good way to do it. Using spaces like I did would tend to get distorted depending on the browser and monitor size and who knows what else. I was just trying to give a quick answer. But I think you cleared it up even more. Thanks.

I didn't even realize that I could just put the code in the post without it being read by the browser and then not showing the code. So I went to the trouble of making a graphic. O well.
  • Hi! Thanks for sharing this money making tip on your post. But to which article sites should I submit articles? Can you please list some of them? I hope it is not a secret.
  • Thanks dropship - for the giftcard offers, aren't they the ones where people have to sign up then complete 2 gold offers, 2 silvers offers etc to get the stuff? Like the free ipod offers?

Or do you have something else which just asks for a zip or email address and they stand a chance of winning the giftcard?

I actually reveal my live article examples, niches, etc. in my latest WSO.

That's exactly true as you'd be surprised at how well some of the not hot niches do because of either low competition or spikes in daily trends :-)
  • do you have any testimonials for your wso?
  • dropship do you have any examples of one of your sites where i can see the process live in action? thanks :-)
  • hey guys, what i've realized in my internet marketing experience is that you don't even necessarily need to promote one of the top niches. as long as you find a niche that has customers and low to medium competition it is a great way to start out. this way you will avoid the competition and be able to get comfortable with internet marketing while still making money.

    cheers,

  • Hi Dropship

You gave some really great info there! I have to say I'm pretty much a newbie but the idea seems workable to me. I have a few questions though I hope you can help on.
Firstly, using your idea, I dont have to have a website? I could write articles and use just those to link to the CPA offers.
If I do have website, reading one of your above posts would it be possible and OK with the CPA networks if I have different CPA offer redirects from different pages of the same domain? i.e.mydomain.com/CPA offer1, then another page with offer 2, which may be entirely unrelated to offer 1 and simply redirects incoming visitors from my article on to the CPA offer via a redirect? Is this OK to do in the eyes of CPA networks?
With this method in mind what would you put in your application to CPA networks when asked how I intend to drive traffic to offers? article marketing? PPC seems to be what they are looking for but if I'm not doing that will it get me into trouble putting that on the application?

Hope someone can answer my info as I'm itching to have a go!!

    Thanks
    DST
    • [1] reply
    • Yes with this method you don't need a website/landing page, etc. which is why it's very easy to implement and fast!

When applying to CPA networks, yes some of them do want a website but there are some where you don't necessarily have to if you are driving your traffic via article marketing.

It's fine to setup the domain like you said by redirecting to different offers via subpage, subdomain, etc. as it really doesn't matter how your setting up the redirection there.

Hope this helps, but let me know if you still have questions...
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Yes, you are true good post buddy.
  • Thanks for the quick reply Dropship.
I have a further question though...

"When applying to CPA networks, yes some of them do want a website but there are some where you don't necessarily have to if you are driving your traffic via article marketing."

Could you give us a few examples of such networks? As I said, I'm a newbie and havent yet approached the big CPA networks and wouldnt want to burn my chances of getting accepted whilst trying out what seems an easy way to start out in CPA.
  • Desi, maxbounty I know would be fine in accepting you if you tell them you have email list or do article marketing.
  • Sounds like you enjoy doing this CPA isn't my thing, but you posted some interesting information....Thanks
    • [1] reply
    • I think you could probably get accepted into any of them if you simply explain your marketing techniques during the phone interview. Most all networks are open to hearing about how their publishers are going to market the offers and if it sounds good without having a website, they will accept you.

Some of the more tougher networks though like Hydra, Azoogle, and Neverblue might be the only exception to this.

Believe me, anyone can follow these simple techniques and make some money. The more you work at this, the more you will make... CPA is one of the easiest ways for newbies all the way to advanced IM's to make money online. (In my opinion anyway..) :-)
  • Thanks for that Dropship. I'll be signing up to a few networks tomorrow and fingers crossed ready to have a go after that.

Your info seems really worthwhile. Have I missed the boat on getting your free WSO? the one in the link in your sig? I click on it but theres nowhere to submit email on that page.
  • is there any basic site templates to use for this method?

i dont have any knowledge of how to start up a website or how to make anything web related. would anyone know or can point me in the direction of setting up simple site and how to edit it?
  • Another option for say, Ezine artilces is to do a simple sales/informative, attractive blogspot paragraph and direct link from there. Ezine will put through an article pretty quickly if you're an established person. Use a good keyword and find a suitable question on Yahoo answers too.

    • There's no words to describe this guys WSO. I'm surprised that $9,97 isn't a type for $97 at which price it would still be worth more than all the other "guru" junk I've bought into before.

From an hours work I managed to generate $25 using just one of his techniques. He outlines every one of his 5 methods in great detail explaining exactly how he cashes in and shows his live landing pages and articles.
  • everything looks good...im about to write an article right now. My only confusion is that in the free report you wrote about RVs, thats not the trendyiest story to me. To use your method dont you need to write about something that is goign on right now. This is why you said you do not need to have a landing page because the topic will fade eventually.

Also when you said that you wrote about Cbrown did you use a picture of him and Rhianna...If so how and where do you get those kind of pictures?
  • The poll is a good method. But if you have the money, use Adwords dont mess around writing articles. With Adwords, soon as I optimize my poll up to 100% or so ROI, I know that all I have to do is let the traffic loose and double my dollar. And if a campaign is a loser I know with in $25 of testing.

A little piece of advice, dont JUST use Google trends to find your niches. My best niches have all been things that took up to a week to hit trends. So while you dont even know something's hot I've been killing it for a week before the calvary jumps in.

Another reason why I dont love writing articles is because if a niche topic gets HOT then you will lose your rankings to ESPN, TMZ, NBC, etc etc and have NO money coming in. With Adwords I just up my bid and sacrifice some ROI to keep the volume.

  • Thanks for sharing the info dropship. I'm going to try this out and see how it works. Me = not good writer, but willing to stick my neck out for this one.
  • Hmm, seems like a damn fine idea. I wonder though, if one could target a specific niche (example: pop music) and build a general blog/website around this niche, then watch for trends to appear. So, each web page/blog post would target a trend with a cpa offer to match such as ringtone downloads.

Next write article(s) and submit to directories. Then social bookmark the articles for a bit of the good old web 2.0 link love.

If the campaign is profitable you could then up the ante a tad with Yahoo Answers Twitter and maybe PPC.

It can be hard work if you're a dislexic old fart like me, so outsourcing is looking like a good idea.

    • The information in my free report is actually a separate method than what I am explaining here. They are two separate techniques that you can use to maximize CPA revenue.

Yes that's very true, if you can think outside the box before it gets hot, then you are certainly ahead of the game.

Adwords is a good way to get the instant traffic but some people don't have the money to spend on this method and if you aren't good with PPC, building landing pages, etc. it's not going to work with you.

You really need to develop some good quality landing pages if you are going to advertise on Adwords or your campaigns will get slapped in no time.

If you pick the right keywords that aren't competing with the sites you've mentioned it's not hard at all to outrank them. You'll be surprised at how bad those sites setup and choose their headlines that show up in the search.

You really don't have to be a good writer to do this, but you can always outsource it.

I'm actually helping people write articles myself, so if anyone is interested in this, just let me know.

Yes that is a fantastic idea, because as soon as the next trend comes out, your page/site will be one of those that can get indexed and appear in the top very quickly.

  • This is a profitable idea, however it really comes down to how you design your resource box, and shape your 'call to action.'

Please must click on the link.

I've been using this method, whilst also making VIDEOS and uploading them on video directories. Download a vid, place your banner ads (with your links), and then re upload it.

Remember: Your SUBJECT title must be keyword rich, so is your video description.
  • Hi, I think this is a very good idea, thanks for sharing. The only problem I thought was that if the subject is a hot trend wont there be a lot of coverage by the big sites anyway, this kind of drowning out the chance of it being seen by article directories etc.

I haven't experimented much but after reading yesterday I tried 'michael jackson homicide' as it was pretty hot, I'v had a few clicks but nothing converted. Perhaps the story is just too big would you say?
  • Hi i'm new to the CPA field and I haven't made any real money from it yet outside of one promotion where I got people to sign up using their email's. made like $2.00 per email. so that was good.
My question is where is a good place for me to start to learn more about how to do this the right way? I've got my own website hosted and I do video marketing somewhat...
I haven't done any article marketing in a while...
but thanks again all of you for the great content so far.
  • Quick question: does the poll / the CPA offer have anything to do with the subject of the article? (it might be a bonus, but does it have to?)

    BTW: Great post
    • [1] reply
    • Trial and error of what you already know will help, but if you want detailed step by step info and my live examples, just see my sig :-)

No it doesn't have to be, but if you can relate the offer as close as you can to the poll, that will help your CTR and conversions.

I've found that using a general offer that caters to most audiences like Walmart gift card or grocery gift cards work well in all kinds of niches and trends.
  • Dropship,

I'm new on here, and thank you for the great post! Purchased your WSO and sent pm with details. Cant wait to get it!
  • Hey Dropship

I've run into a bit of a roadblock even on something so simple it seems.
Someone mentioned putting a poll question into the body of the article itself. How is this done? Do I just paste the relevant HTML code into the article?

    i.e.

    paragraph 1 blah blah blah

Answer the following question for a chance to win whatever...

**html code for poll including aff links**

paragraph 2 or end of article

would the html code automatically show up as the box with yes no option after I submit the article and its on the site?

I suppose i could put the aff link for the offer in the resource box at the end of the article but i think its a weaker call-to-action and thus less likely to inspire clickthrus.

Can anyone explain please? I have some articles all written and ready to go but the hot trend maybe cooling and i'd like to try this quickly.

    Thanks

    DST
    • [1] reply

    • Hey There,

Depending on which article site you use, each one is differently but the HTML code you want to use is something like this:
<a href="http://YOUR-LINK-HERE">Whatever Text You Want to be Displayed in Article (YES), (NO), etc. </a>

Some article directories like ArticlesBase will allow you to just hyperlink your text from the toolbar in the body editor.

  • I am going to have to try this out. Thanks for the info dropship! Great Info...
  • Which CPA networks work best for this method. I'm not signed up to any and I've never really done anything with CPA offers. This sounds like an awesome idea though. I'd like to try it out.
    • [2] replies

    • I don't know what the best CPA network is for this method, but I found it easy to get accepted to MaxBounty. No phone calls, no hassles.
    • I would recommend the following networks using this technique:
      PrimaryAds
      MaxBounty
      NeverBlue
      MarketLeverage
      Affiliate.com

You can really sign up to any major CPA network and have success using the technique as there's not really one network I use. I spread across the offers through many different networks because there are offers that some networks don't have and vice versa.

Always diversify your offers across many CPA networks so you can get your conversion data based on the offer, network, etc.
  • Thank you dropship, I have been considering this method for some time, I will try it out this week

  • I got declined by MaxBounty. They sent me an email that said it wasn't the quality of my website, it was just that it didn't match their current offers.

What's a good way to get accepted by a CPA network?
    • [1] reply
    • There are a few good posts on getting accepted by a CPA network in this forum, but the basics are that you need to explain to them you are going to deliver high quality traffic either via a website you have in a specific niche or directly from search engines. Even though you go declined with MaxBounty with your site, try applying to others with the same site as offers vary by network.
  • Good way to get accepted by a CPA network is following their rules, also match it with their current offers. If you get declined by a CPA, just find another one
  • Bought your WSO, but never received any download, nothing in spam folder either- send you a PM.
    • [1] reply
    • Me too, also sent you a PM, no reply yet.

  • That is a great one, thanks dropship..
  • Just wondering wether it may be worth using free site like weebly n wordpress to test drive this.

Might be cheaper than registering a full domain for something that might only be "live" for a few days if a short term trend.

Might be harder to rank I guess. However if its a short term trend it might be hard to rank immidatley anyway.

What do we think? How bout if you had a blogger blog with tons of back links. Would that help ranking?
    • [1] reply
    • You don't actually need a full website to do this because you can direct link to your affiliate offer right in the article.

However if you wanted to drive traffic to your own site, then yes that would help expand your traffic as the backlinks from the articles pointing to the website will help the ranking.

As you said though, trends are sometimes short lived so I don't usually take the time to build a site or Wordpress blog unless it's a really hot trend that will be searched and buzzed about for at least a month.
  • It has been more than 48 hours and still waiting for your WSO product...
  • For those of you who ordered my WSO, you should receive an instant download link after payment if you click the "continue" button on the Paypal screen.

However, if you missed it, just PM me with your transaction ID and I'll send you the link.

  • I am very confused as to how you code the poll into your article content. Can you please elaborate on this?
    • [2] replies
    • I believe he is referring to the article linking to his landing page which has a poll on it.
    • Yes it is still available as it's the first link in my sig, but only paypal is accepted.

You would simply put the poll within your article and the YES and NO answers would be an affiliate link that directs to your offer. For live examples and detailed steps, you can see how I did it exactly in my WSO in my sig.
  • Got your WSO. Really like the simplicity of it. One thing I don't quite get though is the content delivery service. Is this a service offered by google? Could you please elaborate?
  • Thanks man this is great stuff for people like me not experienced in this kind of stuff yet.
it sure goes a long way.

  • Will Ezine let you do that? I have yet to try some more article directories, but writing lots of articles does not yet come easy. Isn't there some plugin that could keep a real tally of the votes? This would make it a proper poll, also if I understand this right the yes/no is just a link to your article?
    • [1] reply
    • I wouldn't recommend it for Ezine unless you want to build landing pages for each niche. I just setup a yes/no hyperlink in the article on article sites that allow you to do that which takes the user to the aff. landing page.
  • So that plan not for long. Can you specify how much the average length of a trend?
  • Not bad for someone needing to make a quick buck.
  • This method is pretty good. A cool twist that you can is make a Facebook Page about a controversial topic (For ex: "Barack Obama is not a US citizen!") and then link to a related poll. That can make some quick money, but Facebook shuts down pages like that all the time.
  • How long does it take for traffic to start coming in..
    • [1] reply
    • It could be in as little as 30 minutes. Just depends when your article shows up in the top of google.

It's selected based on popularity (within the top 10 trends). If people are searching for it, you will get traffic and it will be easy to write up an article on any topic.
  • I love it, there is so many way you can stretch this method.
  • If everyone is following Google trends and putting out polls on the same subject won't this get saturated very quickly?

Can you give an example of one of your articles with a poll?
  • Alright let me clarify this for myself (sorry if this has been said before)

    1. I find a trend on google trends
    2. I create short articles or just "Vote please" kind of articles
    3. I create YES/NO links. If they click either YES or NO they are taken to a page that I create where they eg. enter their email and zip code to "Enter for a chance to win a (eg.) Iphone 4". I first have to register at eg. LeadBolt to get one of those offers, right?

    Am I correct?
    Thanks and awesome article!
  • Could you tell me which company is it the best to register to for the "Enter your zip/email" stuff?
    Thanks
  • Any chance of answers to my questions? ^^ Thanks
  • Dominium,

You find trends on Google trends and create an article on the topic. The actual poll with the Yes/No links are on a landing page. Your article should be enticing the reader to your landing page. The Yes/No links on the landing page go to the offer.

As for your question on companies, I have PMed you.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Ah, big thanks for that :-) Didn't know that I need to put them on the landing website.

    Cheers!
    Dominium
  • You can simply forget the poll..and directly link them to the offer.

After reading the article, offer something like, "Like this article? CLICK HERE to get a free iPad!"
  • Great thread. I am not sure what the purpose of the poll of yes or no is for. Is it that is a good way to get people to click compared to anything else? It does seem that backlinking the article can give it longevity but the trend would also still need to be of interest to people. I just gave it a try as I can write articles pretty quickly.
  • First, just wanted to thank you for this method! I'm eager to implement it and hopefully see some results.

I'm a newbie to this stuff, I have an embarrassing question that I CAN'T figure out. I've got articles written, subdomain redirect sites set up, everything. All I need to know how to do is add the link with the mask "Vote YES" or "Vote NO" to the article. I tried using the hyperlink button in SearchWarp's article editing panel and when I fill in all the info and click ok, nothing happens. This is very frustrating!!! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  • Thank you dro..this is wonderful, though im not a fan of articles, i believe this is a good method to use articles. My question is however cant we you blogger, because they also allow html tags,so we can create the vote in there too.
    • [1] reply
    • Yes, you can use blogger but I've personally not had good luck ranking well with that system. In the long run that may be a good way to rank, but when you are dealing with google trends, you need something that is going to rank quickly and that's what I've found with article sites.
  • Managed to register to one of the companies, Ill see how it goes...
  • Send them to your website from the article - saying like "Read the rest of the story here(link)" and let them poll there.
  • One question - so you submit the articles, and they will usually get traffic within that short window of time?

What sort of keywords do you target?
    • [1] reply
    • Yes, I've seen it get traffic within hours of posting the article. You need to target the keyword combination that google trends shows for that particular trend.
  • How is everyone doing with this method?

Regarding the article quality, does it matter if you aren't that good at writing articles? Do the articles need to be of a certain standard so the site will publish them?
    • [1] reply
    • I got accepted by PeerFly today so im going to try to get this method underway

Ive selected the Apple ipad offer but it doesn't mention Article marketing under Allowed Marketing. It says "Contextual" but doesn't this mean that the article your writing about needs to be related to the offer your promoting?
  • I launched an article today. How long does it typically take articlesbase to review?
    • [1] reply
    • A day or two. Much faster than Ezine, which isn't as great as it's made out to be anyway..
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • They approved me in 10 hours. Nice.

Now I wonder how long it takes to get indexed by Google.
  • [DELETED]
  • Ive tried this method, submitting 4 articles to sites such as GoArticles, articlesbase, Ezine, etc.. but i haven't earned anything at all. I used a re-direct link for the poll instead of a link directly to the offer.

A question to those who are having success with this method, do you select offers which are for United States only or do you select ones which can be done by more counties.

The email submit offer for an iPod, i choose is only for United States but there doesn't seem many alternatives.
  • So my article has been up on Articlesbase for almost 36 hours now and it is not indexed by Google yet. Are there other steps I need to take or does it usually take this long? I'm not sure if I'm missing something.
    • [1] reply

      [DELETED]
    • I am having the exact same problem. Articlebase approved my article fairly quickly but Google is not picking it up. I just tried to Digg my article and posted it on my Twitter account in hopes that it might show up faster. I have already missed the spike in traffic for my Trend. There has to be a way to speed up this process.
  • @ Brittany - It's 3.08%

@ wordpress_seo - I know, same here. Mine was a news story that has pretty much passed. It really had about a 48 hour window.
  • Almost 3 days have passed and it isn't indexed. What am I doing wrong?
    • [1] reply
    • I am coming up on 2 days myself and it is not indexed either. I read somewhere that it might help if you submit the article link to social bookmarks and pingler. I am thinking something like bookmark demon might come in handy.

So you submit your article and once it is approved you immediately hit it with these tools. Anyone doing this? Does it help speed up indexing?
  • I'm not doing this particular plan, but I do article marketing. I usually ping, bookmark (SocialAdr or Onlywire are free options), and submit the RSS author feed for all my articles, and then ping them again after the RSS submission. I typically get indexed within 24 hours.
    • [1] reply
    • Thanks Jody_W! Can you elaborate on the submit the RSS author feed? To whom and where are you submitting that? I am probably being dumb here but I just want to be sure I understand.

      Thanks!

  • If anyone could provide a link to a WSO, report or somethign of the sort where I can learn hwo to ping, bookmark and submit RSS feeds, I would greatly appreciate that.
    • [1] reply
    • Actually all of that other stuff is not necessary. With this technique you are looking to hit google fast and pinging, bookmarking, etc. will not get you there fast. That is to maintain the position for the long haul. Since the trends die out after time, it's just another step that I don't find beneficial.

However there are some trends that I've done that have been going strong for over a year now, so they are out there, but you have to be selective in them.
      • [1] reply
  • Some trends last for just several hours or just a day.

Now, article marketing requires 15-30 mins. to write and then submit.

Those articles won't be approved until a day and it won't be weeks until it gets indexed.

Even then, for trendy news, it's even more competitive. The 1st 20 sites based on 'trend search' are likely Wikipedia, major news networks, major blogs, etc.

It's better to do a press release for this.
    • [1] reply
    • Does the poll technique still work? I'm wondering....
  • That's definitely a good way to find a new niche every week, stay ahead of the game!
  • Which article sites do you use that approve your articles instantly?
    • [1] reply
    • GoArticles, ArticlesBase (after so many submissions), SearchWarp are my favorites.
  • How many articles do you need on Articlesbase for auto approval? I heard it was around 10 but i currently have around 20 live articles on Articlesbase but mine aren't getting auto approval.
    • [1] reply
    • It was at one time 20, but now it appears that they are manually approving all articles again maybe due to spam problems.
  • Hello,
I have not skill to write article, so can i use some tool to rewrite other article? Or copy them?
  • Is this method still working for anyone?
  • Proven method. Polls actually do well, and this way of getting traffic via article sites is a plus. Good job mate
  • Sorry if I'm being dumb here, but I'd love to see an example. Thanks
  • at point 3 i cant get this..."make sure you use the title as your keyword phrase you are targeting and a couple times throughout the article"

can you make it clear dude...

I found several free accounts, and one that requires very small outlay of green for the offers (anyone know anything abut 7 search and BidVertiser?) I had never heard about using google trends for the niches. I already have a domain name and am using it for other things right now like facebook, but as soon as I have more time later, I will set this up.

  • Many article directories will want you to link to a webpage which is related to the topic of your article. In such cases, it is not possible to link directly to the affiliate offer even if they allow the affiliate link.

A small twist to this technique can be that you can create short videos and post on youtube with link in the description leading to the email-submit offer.
