CPVLab Question- Tracking Clicks But Not Conversions

Hey,

Im hoping someone can give me a helping hand as Im getting myself confused talking to CPVLab and Max Bounty.

So I am running a CPA offer on maxbounty. CPVLab is tracking impressions and click throughs fine. But NOT conversions (I can see I have had conversions from my Max Bounty Reports section)

I know its something to do with the postback pixel. At the moment I just have the postback pixel

http://www.mydomain.com/adclick.php

I know I need to add something to the end of this so it tracks my conversions.

Could someone please explain what it needs to look like and if I need to do anything else on the CPVLab back end?

Would really appreciate it
Thanks

Tom

To be able to track conversions, you need to add your postback url inside of Maxbounty

Thanks for the reply but thats what I have done. I have added

      http://www.mydomain.com/adclick.php

      to my affiliate network MaxBounty.

But this only tracks impressions and click throughs.

I need a different postback pixel in order to track conversions also and hoping a CPVlab/MaxBounty user on here will know how it is written

It's been awhile since I used CPVLab, but that link you added up top is the click URL that you hyper link on your LP and is NOT the postback URL that you put in your affiliate networks.

You need to grab the correct postback URL which should be labeled like such or similar in CPV, which will end in tid= or something like that, then you'll have to put the token #S1# at the end of it which is MaxBounty's parameter for a conversion.

You have to add the token S1 I believe as well to CPVLab, unless that's changed. Write into to support and they'll help you along if you can't figure out the rest. But, like I said you need the proper post back URL and at the end of = you'll have to place #S1# so the conversion will be posted.

Hopefully, that'll get you on your way to working it out though.

You need to add MaxBounty's subid token to the end of the url.

For example for networks using the Hasoffers platform the postback url would be:

    http://www.mydomain.com/adclick.php?subid={aff_sub}

So whatever token you are using to track the click id, you need to add to the end of the url like the example above. I'm not on MB, so I don't know what that is.

Thanks Remy i "think" I have got it. Max Bounty's token is #s1#
So I have now entered the postback pixel

    http://www.mydomain/adclick.php?subid=#S1#

    Into maxbounty.

In my tracking software I have entered my affiliate url with &s1= added on to the end.

I hope thats got everything sorted now.

    Thanks

You can test it you know. Click on the "test link" link in CPV Lab and then look at the address bar. Copy whats after &s1 and paste it in the postback url, then put the url into your browser and click enter.

You should see a conversion in the cpvlab stats.

Hey Remy that would be great to check. Could you explain that to me again pls.

I clicked on test link and it went to my landing page. I clicked on the landing page to be directed to the offer and in the url address bar I can't see &s1 anywhere.

It just has the web address followed by

    CI_FormA.aspx?referid=Max+Bounty+_162772&redir=0&e mail=&transaction_id=1026e499adf8289e89f53b8fd8d50 4

Make sure the "Append SubId to" is ticked on offer, in the campaign settings in cpvlab.
