[ADSENSE] $2,000/Month on AUTOPILOT? STEP-BY-STEP BLUEPRINT that WORKS!

Hi fellow warriors!

I am lucky and privileged to join Warriorforum
as it has been a catalyst to my success in Adsense.

Nowadays, most of my full time income comes from
building Adsense niche authority sites ever since
I got retrenched due to the financial crisis in 2008.

Thankfully, I managed to pick myself up and have been
dabbling in Adsense ever since and decide to contribute
to this thread since there are no updated Adsense guide
available yet to provide resource in making money from
Adsense for 2015.

Here are some screenshoot to prove that making money
from Adsense is possible even today!

.

Start by stop trying to find long tail keywords with low competition
and creating articles per keyword based on the keywords cause
you will struggle to make an income and even get ranked with in Google.

What we are building is a established business Adsense model that
can provide income on autopilot. The first place to look is usually those
well-established authority sites that has been ranking well for your niche.

From there, you can target the higher volume keywords with your long tail
content related keywords with-in your content. Essentially, creating content
that is full of targeted and related information can effectively reach out to
multiple streams of keyword volume immediately.

I always start with using google keyword planner and look for volumes of
20,000 and higher and never ever make the mistake of looking at CPC.

I break down to 20,000 into 2 or sometimes even 4 keywords depending
on the niche. Then find the related keywords (long tails) with smaller volumes
for each of the main keywords.

Self-sufficient is the keyword- volume 22,200

After you have your heading body title targeting high volume and your
sub categories, you need your long tail keywords to be constructively
placed within your article.

So Eg, self-sufficient home - is your H3 Title, let's find a few long tails.
Below you can see in google search its recommendations for the word.
You can take this a step further.

At the bottom of google search you can see more suggested keywords
related to your niche. Make sure you select from related keywords to your
title and then build on this.

Then I check out the competition on the first page for the main keywords.
I'm looking for week content sites with poor D/A and P/A using Open site explore.

Once you have found this data and you have decided you can outrank them.
It's time to build better valuable/more compelling/engaging content than your
competitions to overtake them in the serps.

I will cover more about this soon.

Hope this tip helps.

UPDATE: As much as I try my best to reply to some of your queries,
do understand some of the tasks are very time consuming and it will take
awhile for me to get back with your answer.

Do try to post it in the thread so I don't have to answer the same question
personally every time in the PM box.

Priority will always be given to the questions in the thread.

Thanks for the support and enthusiasm, I will do my best to help all of you.

  • Thanks for this!

    Questions:

    1) How many posts/articles do you have on your site?

    2) How much traffic did you need per month to make 1000?
    • [1] reply
    • Hi theactor19!

      1) 200-400. It varies depending on the niche and quality of the articles.

      2) It depends on the niche. I would not worry about calculating a traffic amount/cpc/ to work out your final income. Instead, focus on building an authority site with valuable content to your targeted audience.

      Hope it helps.

Thank I will try my very best to help out as many Warriors as possible as Adsense is such a huge area to cover but I will be posting updates on tips and tricks to help out as much as possible as I started gathering more questions from the warriors like you.

  • It is possible to earn from Adsense, but not for everyone. Many complain that their earnings have decreased in the last few years, so Adsense works, but it's not as profitable as it used to be, IMO.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • [2] replies
    • You are right that Adsense is not for everyone as different people has different strengths in different areas online, eg blogging, ecommerce(ebay) or even coding.

However, it is the easiest platform to earn money so far and it has been working since the dawn of Google.

I am not sure where you get the statistics from on your statement that "earnings has decreased in the last few years", but for me, as apparent from the screen shoot, earning has went up for me.

Hence, I will update this thread with more tutorials and answering most of your questions on how to grow and leverage on Google growth without facing a backlash from their animal updates and suspension.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • I agree. I think it's important for those just starting out to realize that you NEVER want to put all of your eggs in one basket aka you can't make a sustainable living (5-10 years) just off of Adsense alone...

We all know how finicky Google can be.

That being said, this is a FANTASTIC post with more substance than most WSO's...

Approach making money online with the "multiple streams" mindset and you'll do just fine for many years to come...

Adsense, affiliate income, product creation, email marketing... spread it out!

  • Hi Enigma: I save the keyword ad planner tool to my desktop. I have been using adsense for about a decade and still cannot clearly understand how to use it properly aside from the basic steps although I do have it on my CARTOONS | CUSTOM ILLUSTRATIONS | CARTOON SERVICES | DAILY WEB COMIC which has 8400 pages throughout and roughly 4000 different images throughout, I generate very little. I need to study your screenshots here a little better. I'm also trying to understand the ad overlays aspect . . . .

    • Hi Toivo,

Have you tried changing your ad locations?

Ads within the content tend to perform better.

      Some pointers for your website
      1. Do consider removing the Adsense ads from your header and move this into your content.

      2. Also have you tried A/B testing with adsense colors?
Try this for a month and see how you perform over the month.
  • Would you be able to share how you get traffic for your sites and how many sites you have to reach the income you show us? Thanks..
    • [1] reply
    • Hi sickbaomei,

Traffic is all natural from search engines/ google/ bing/ yahoo etc. Once you have sites with valued content and with some basic on-page optimized techniques, your content will drive traffic to your site.

      I will cover on-page optimizations shortly .

Currently, I have about 4 sites and also a new site is on the pipeline.

One of the 4 sites have never had any back links, it is just pure optimised and engaging content and it has been one of my best performing sites so far! This shows you that content goes a long way if you do it right.

i have made a mock up for you , This layout all depends on your WP theme try to use this as a guide and work from this.

    FEW TIPS
    1. No need for a red outline on your adds
    2. Blend in your ads with the site
    3. Place ads within your content

    Hope this helps.
  • Hey Enigma,
Thanks for sharing this Content. I am glad that i landed on your article. Good stuff.
I currently have a verified adsense account which i got from my youtube channel(aka non hosted adsense account), can i use in to monitize my site as well?
I would also like to know if there is a minimum word length per article when it comes to writing article for an adsense site? I am a freelance article writer myself, so writing 200-500 article for a website would not be a problem at all.
    Eagerly waiting for your reply
  • Enigma:

I agree with AffiliateBeast! Thanks for these shots you made of my page....was thinking the same way when you suggested those new potential ad placements. I actually have a custom theme in my WordPress account. I am able to do a few things on my own (like deleting that current banner ad in my "header.php") but want to take some time to look at those "post pages" I use for displaying my content. Like I say, I have roughly 8500 pages (maybe more!)
  • Hey AffilliateBeast!
Thanks! I am currently working on more helpful content for this thread!

-you are able to use your youtube verified adsense account for your site so that is not a problem.
-Being a freelance writer this should be a joy for you! My advise find is to a niche to get started.
-main pages from 1000 words and upwards
-content pages can lead from 700 upwards.

Quality is important. Always remember to engage your audience.
    • [ 3 ] Thanks
  • Happy to help Toivo !
There are a few adsense wp-plugins that can help you, try a few of them and see what works best with your custom theme,

    Easy AdSense Lite
    Quick AdSense
    Google AdSense Plugin

    • Enigma: Do you think using a plugin is better than pasting code into a site manually? Wondering!
  • Hi toivo,

If you have a huge volume of posts, this can be a time saver! So there is no harm in using a few plugins.
  • I am going to look at those plugins you mention Enigma...very appreciated. By the way....have a look on left of page as I took care of that ad (300X250) and what I did was set background color to match page with zero border (I chose the "show text /display ad" setting)....I'm looking into these other options you show in those screenshots! I have been using adsense for years but until recently, just now finding time to tweak things!
    • [1] reply
    • Enigma if you can see screenshot attached, let's say I want to add AdSense code directly above that text/content/description. How to know what actual width code I should choose? How to verify the width of that template area where I added that text you see? Thanks!
      • [1] reply
  • Hi Toivo,

You have a few options. Try using custom size and responsive.

With the new update from google (mobile-friendly) started on the 21 of April, I would advise making your Ad Size responsive to these changes.

  • Hi Arafet,

Keep it simple. Any wordpress template that is responsive will do.

Beside, HTML5 template will be costlier than wordpress template and you will have issues upgrading it too in the later stages. (Since you have to code the upgrades yourself rather than getting the same individual functionalities from the widely available plugins for wordpress)
  • Hi Taherrsyed34,

It will depend on your niche and your competitors.

Just having an article/image/video is not sufficient these days.

Try and be creative and think out of the box.
    • [1] reply
    • Enigma:

It was quite some time since I looked around inside of my AdSense account's ad code and admin area and was SURPRISED to see that 'Responsive Ad' code option now avail;able. I was thinking about using that in the future for ALL new ad code I get. Good point....thanks. BTW:

#1. Can you tell us the difference between 'asynchrounous' and regular ad code?

#2. What about 'Ad Overlays' - leave that ON or OFF?

Keep up your good posts, I appreciate this!

  • Thanks alot for such a brief post it's help me more and clear about keyword suggestion
  • 1) How long did it take you to build up to making 1000/month
Almost 6-12 months across 4 different sites but I only spare 1-2 hours on it since I have other commitments in my life too.

    2) What is your average CPC
The average CPC is around £0.98.

The highest I have hit is £9.00 per click.

However, whenever I starting building the site, I don't look at CPC as part of my Adsense strategy.

Instead, I usually go for volume/traffic and the niche/audience to determine the CPC.

I will explain more about this later in the thread.

    3) What is your average RPM
There is no need to worry about this.

  • Hey Devilfish

You should start to target more focused areas of your niche, as you can see i have built my title based on 2 keywords.

H1 Title-----Easy Hip Exercises for hip extensors
    Hip Exercises --12,100 traffic volume
    hip extensors--1,900 traffic volume

you can then see a list of related keywords for your content now you can build a targeted and authoritative article .

You can also see how i do my competition analysis, remember i am looking at weak sites within top 10-20 of google search for your keyword.

    hope this helps

I added that code in my APPEARANCE>EDITOR>far right....'Functions.php' and at very bottom (above "?>") I added a php code to control the adsense code where I intend on displaying that specific ad. Here is the code:

      function myAdSenseCodeFunction(){
      return 'Your AdSense Code Goes Here';
      }
      add_shortcode('adToAppearHere', 'myAdSenseCodeFunction');

Now, there is an important step where you ad your adsense code is pasted...(in bold)

  • Great work in a tough field. A few questions.

$1900/month income - is that per site, 4 sites combined, how many sites combined?

You indicate you spend 1-2 hours ... Can you clarify that?

Is it 1-2 hours in total for all sites combined? Or 1-2 hours per site?

Is it 1-2 hours per day, per week, per month?

    Thanks!
    • [1] reply
    • Hi Pokerdawg,

These earnings are from the 4 sites combined together.

When I first stated out, I was just learning like you do but I decided put in as much time as I could into my sites cause I knew there was a lot of potential (mostly passive income behind it).

I spend about 2 hour a day on each site on average.
Most of the time is used to research keywords and content planning like I have shown in my previous posts.

I have a new site about 2 weeks old and I spend about 4-6 hours a day on my NEW site since Adsense is my full time hobby now. This is a huge site for me with no backlinks planned and just pure compelling content (this is my goal) but most of my time for this project is spent on researching and content planning so when my writers know what and how to write for my site.

      Hope this helps.

P.S It is not as tough as it looks if you persist. It helps when most people give up before they reach their goal.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Engima congrats for that adsense is hard to earn from and you are doing great!

Do you mind helping me ! right now i have removed adsense for private ads and they are due to expire within week or so. After i will be placing adsense again, but my earning from adsense is not worth mentioning. How can i get more income from adsense?

Bare in mind I'm running forum not blog. I'm referring to AdminAds in my signature.

    • Hi sarhad12,

Personally, I prefer to work with WordPress since On Page SEO wise, it does the job for you in a very simple way to understand.

The main take from this thread is to build traffic via useful content. This is the basis of my work where I build great content to gain traffic from search engines.
  • Waoh!!! This is quite impressive Engima. You are blessed beyond words for doing this. Well, I see someone suggesting you create a site and get people pay to register on it for your tutoring. Personally, i'll say that such idea would be a wonderful one nevertheless, but if that never crossed your mind when you started this thread, please don't do it. There are things you do in life and it creates more satisfaction than money especially when such thing was done out of passion like what you are doing now. However, if you choose to create a site for this, i'll still come to patronize you but let such decision comes from your mind and not because someone suggested to you.

And now, I have few questions:
    1. Can you suggest a hot niche for us?
    2. What SEO plugins do you know for .blogspot users?
    3. How many posts (atleast) can I have on my blog before applying for adsense?
    4. I saw something up there: "Your ads aren't running because we haven't received a payment", what does that mean?
    5. Do you advice we buy traffic for our sites? If yes, would google accepts it? Would they know about it?
    6. When did you start working with adsense, how was your graduation like via number of post vs. monthly earning?
    7. What are main best practices to avoid problem with google?

Am sorry the questions are many.

    • Hey samuelson00,

It's a fantastic idea! But i think for now this is equally rewarding for me to offer advise and help those who are interested in earning a living from AdSense. There is a valuable point there and that it still is possible to make an income with AdSense if you know what you are doing. So i am glad to help out here.

      1. Can you suggest a hot niche for us?
Look around you! There are so many possibilities but generally hobby niches do very well. Take a look at Amazon and look at some products to work out how you can build around it. Its a great resource for starter.

      2. What SEO plugins do you know for .blogspot users?
I would advise you to start on a free wordpress account which you can then upgrade to a domain and hosting! Use your blogger just to post 1 article every 2 weeks as a personal blog.

      3. How many posts (atleast) can I have on my blog before applying for AdSense?
There is no limit! But what is more important is that AdSense teams can see a unique content and useful site and you will be fine.

      4. I saw something up there: "Your ads aren't running because we haven't received a payment", what does that mean?
This is my keyword research account used for finding niches and keywords ideas.

      5. Do you advice we buy traffic for our sites? If yes, would google accepts it? Would they know about it?
Never buy traffic for your Adsense account. It's not worth the RISK and money! Never put your account at risk! They know everything!! I have been on the phone with a personal AdSense publisher manager and believe me they know everything as its all tracked!

      6. When did you start working with adsense, how was your graduation like via number of post vs. monthly earning?
I have been working with AdSense for well over 7 years. But it's only recently I have seen profits in the last 4 years as it takes time to find out what works and what don't work. (Yes, I have been in your shoes before as well)
Nowadays, I took around 6 months to grow a site to profitability with the exact same formula.

      7. What are main best practices to avoid problem with google?
Duplicate content. The rules have never been changed and it never will.

Always strive for quality in your articles so you get repeated customers coming back to your site. (and powerful ranking from Google as well)

  • Hey Herschel-W,

If you can write the content yourself, you will save more money that way!

When I first started out, I wrote it myself too and it was terrible. (It is still terribly obvious now if you read on :/)

But as the Adsense earnings start to pile up, I manage to to use some of it to hire good writers and from then on, everything starts to grow from there.

Nowadays, most of my earnings run on autopilot cause I have a system in place.

    My advice when starting out
-If you post 1 article of 500-800 words once every day or once every 2 days and follow my methods above, you will start to see traffic over the 1-3 month.

Once you see this traffic, this will start to motivate you to write more content. Start small and most importantly, start doing something.

    1) Month 1-post about 20-30 articles (one per day or every 2days ) end of month you should have 20-30articles

    2) Month 2-post about 20-30 articles (one per day or every 2days ) end of month you have 40-60articles
Build it slowly and you should start to see traffic by following this method.

Any help on how to get this amount of articles done at an affordable price?
I will give some tips on this shortly.

If you have 2 hours a day and have at least a grade 12 in English, do it yourself!

Don't burn yourself out before you finish the race.

    I hope this helps.

Try to reach 500-800 words per article and a few images will goes a long way too.

A link or 2 (if related to content) to other online authority sites like below will help alot.
      www.wikihow.com/
      Wikipedia

Other links related to authority sites in your article also help! Do not be afraid to link to your competitors!

Do you use any plugins to prevent click fraud?

fast forward to 2012 i decided to change the name of the domain of the forum , i also have a blog for softwares ,another site for bulksms and finally another site for webhosting , the big question now is that can i register with google adsense again using any of this website since i have not used them before . note - i have never added any ads code

    what are my options now

    • Hi codedman,

This is the risky side when you are running AdSense in forums with software!

What type of software are we talking about here?

If the software is developed by you, it should be fine as long as they are safe and not malicious to end-users.

It will be useful if I have more information to work it out for you.

when google block my old account , it was on a forum havilah.info its not a forum for software, its for internet solution related issue and i have over 13,000 members and most are active

i decided to change the domain to limitedsite.com

so presently i have an sms platform sendsms.com.ng

i also have webhosting site havilahhost.com

finally i have allsoftware.com.ng for software which are not mine but i write articles on such software but have not updated it for months now

can i open a new adsense account, pls what do you suggest
    • [1] reply
    • Hi there codedman,

      domain to limitedsite.com
This site has a reason for concern.

I need to scroll down to get to the forum which will lead to a ban.

Adsense should supplement your content and not take over your site.

You will not get approval for this site.

      sendsms.com.ng and havilahhost.com
      There is nothing wrong here.

Follow my tips above to help with ad placements but i do think you need more content on sendsms.com.ng

      allsoftware.com.ng
I am concerned with some of the software like, Windows 8.1 KMS Activator | OGBONGE LODGE OF SOFTWARES. Google has ZERO tolerance on software piracy.

    • Hi engima,

      Thanks for the useful post.

The ad placement you are suggesting below is against adsense policy (see the text below directly from Google's website):

"Publishers may not place more than one "large" ad unit per page. We define a "large" ad unit as any unit similar in size to our 300x600 format. For example, this would include our 300x1050 and 970x250 formats, our 750x200 and 580x400 regional formats, and any other custom sized ad with comparable dimensions."

Did you have any problem with the ad placement you are suggesting?

    • Hi Enigma,

First off, I'd like to say that your thread has to be one of the most helpful, informative, and inspirational threads ever on this forum. Thank you for the time and effort you have put in to this labor of love.

Having read it through to the end, I have a couple of questions that unless my memory fails me I did not see addressed so far.

Back in post #81 you gave us a graphic detailing the best ad placement examples, showing the site Self Sufficiency Magazine - Ideas For Living A Self Sufficient Lifestyle. I looked up the site and noticed that the content seems to be entirely curated. Very well done, great info but curated. Could you address the use of curated content in achieving success with these sites?

I have come across a lot of courses teaching curation, but these courses also recommended using paid traffic and this is something I want to avoid, as taught by you in other posts also.

Given the vast amount of content we must produce, and the other posts in this thread suggesting that our content be completely unique, does curation work for these sites? If so, could you give us some best practices? It sure would be a time saver to use curation, but I don't want to do it if you recommend against it.

It may be that the site selfsufficiencymagazine.com was only shown to us for the ad placement example, and not for any other reason, but I did find myself spending a lot of time checking the site out, so whoever's site it is, they are doing a great job with it, at least from a casual visitor's experience.

My second question deals with domains. Using selfsufficiencymagazine.com for instance could we use subdomains and still see success? For instance, selfsufficiency.magazine.com. This would allow us to save some money, especially on domain renewals. Not trying to be a cheapskate, but sometimes money is tight and also it would allow us to test some new ideas without added expense.

Again thanks for all the time and attention you have put into this thread.

  • Hi Engima, this is inspiring.

I couldn't find any info regarding placing call to action on custom search. I want to place the adsense custom search on my site, but I would like to encourage visitor to use the custom search. So, can I place a call to action title like 'search here to find more information' above the custom search bar? I intend to place it in the content and side bar. Will this against adsense TOS?

And do you have example of disclaimer pages that I should put on adsense site? I just copy from other people site, but I'm not sure if they are sufficient.

    Thanks.

    • Hi lingfangwen,

Correct. This is 100% against AdSense TOS,
Please do not do this! Your account will be at risk. You are free to add search bars anywhere on your site but definitely not with call-to-action.

And do you have example of disclaimer pages that I should put on adsense site? I just copy from other people site, but I'm not sure if they are sufficient.

Disclaimer page is not an Adsense requirement but I always use a disclaimer page just to be safe.

You need to check your wordpress backend code!

I can't fix technical issues as I am not a coder.

Maybe you can try to reset your Wordpress template back to its original form and test if you have the same problem.

If the problem persist, re-install wordpress on your domain.

      Hope this helps.
  • Hi,

You said: "I break down to 20,000 into 2 or sometimes even 4 keywords depending
on the niche." So does this mean you sometimes use two 10,000 or four 5,000 volume, and use all four in an article? Along with long tail keywords? I ask because when doing keyword research I have not found many niches with enough 20,000 plus volume keywords, definitely not enough to support 400 articles.

    Thanks,

    Ruth
    • [1] reply
    • Hello RuthStewart,

      Good Question!

The example i show is to produce content for 1 main page of a site.

You would naturally have another 4 or even 6 pages on different sub headings.

      Example
If i where to develop this site, I could also develop another page on sustainable agriculture (keyword volume 12,100), and follow the keyword methods as describes to build more content into this article.

You need to identify what is most important content for your audience then you can decide what is best for your main body articles (pages)..

Once your main articles (Pages) are established you then need smaller articles to be written under each main body article(page) that is related to that subject. Average search volume varies from 8000-100 in search volume and the article can vary from 400 words to even 3000 words

Then follow the same process to identify keywords but with less volume as naturally there will be less volume for these.

      Hope this helps

  • To even get more traffic I would recommend to setup a Fanpage on Facebook, that links back to your website with a little (funny or controversial) comment on Facebook for EACH of your posts, and maybe in the beginning do some Facebook Like campaign ads to get traction and get a viral factor.

    • Hi Engima,
I just found your thread and read everything written so far. I want to say a big THANK YOU for your time, effort and all the information that you are providing. Recently I launched a website for free images and I decided to include adsense when you view an image in lightbox. I was accepted for the program but after reading your thread I started to think that google might not like this. So far I had no problems but I have almost no traffic. Do you think that a website with images only could do well with adsense? You mentioned earlier in the post about optimizing images. I downloaded SEO for wordpress but I use it only for the pages. Any ideas and tips will be much appreciated.

    • Hey berry lawrence,

Leader Board728x90 and Large Skyscraper 300x600 text or text/image ads commands more clicks? What do you advise?
The idea is not to encourage clicks this may result to a banned account. The theory behind larger ad units is to display rich type ads eg: image and animated ads as these tends to perform better as they attracted the viewer .

    • Make sure that your pages have sufficient text - websites that contain mostly images, videos or Flash animations will not be approved.
    • Your content should contain complete sentences and paragraphs, not only headlines.
    • Ensure that your website is fully built and launched before you apply for AdSense - do not apply while your site’s still in a beta or “under construction” phase or only consists of a website template.
    • Place the ad code on a live page of your website. It does not have to be the main page, but test pages that are empty except for the AdSense ad code will not be approved.
    • Provide a clear navigation system for your visitors so that they can easily find all of the sections and pages of your website.
    • If you’d like to monetize YouTube videos, please apply for the YouTube monetization program. Note that blogs and websites that contain only videos will not be approved
what i dont seems to understand is that
1 Make sure that your pages have sufficient text = my website have this
2 Your content should contain complete sentences and paragraphs = my website have this
3 Ensure that your website is fully built and launched before you apply for AdSense= my website is fully built via smf and its over 1year

4 Place the ad code on a live page of your website = no ad code was sent to me

5 Provide a clear navigation system for your visitors so that they can easily find all of the sections and pages of your website = this i have done before now

Thank you for your reply. I saw the website for wallpapers which you gave as an example for good adsense placement. After browsing arround I saw that they have as well integrated adsense into their lightbox image preview. I'll further check with the adsense forums and support regarding the placement of adsense in lightboxes.
You mentioned that you are manually optimizing your images. Can you please explain what do you mean by that. I'm using Photoshop for keywording, description, title and optimize the image for web. I'm also using wordpress library and SEO by Yoast for some additional fields. What else can be done to optimize an image?

First of all thank you for all the time you are using creating the post and answering all our questions

And now, here are my questions:

      1) I read that your websites have 200/400 posts... What do you think about niche websites with 20-30 post? This system works too for this kind of websites? Is that important the volume of articles?

      2) I supose you add your websites to google webmaster tools... but are you adding to Bing/Yahoo webmaster tools?, Are you creating Facebook pages / Twitter / G+?

      3) Do you prefer big websites with different content (as news, portals, etc...) or niche websites (Forex, Football team, Diets, etc...)?

Kind regards and again thank you for your time and all the info you are giving us

  • Hi Engima,

I have a few questions. Hope you can answer.

You mention no link building but just adding content to rank. Is it possible to rank by itself to page one with the targeted keywords.

How long it takes your site without backlinking to rank first page and how much your site made?

    Thanks.
    • [1] reply
    • Hey Jeffreys,

Yes. From my recent testing, one of my sites that doesn't have any backlinks is outranking sites where i have built backlinks.

However, the only drawback is that it takes about 2-3 months longer to notice rank increase compared to back linked sites.

Typically, it takes around 4-5 months to see the growth in traffic but this also depends on the keywords you decide to target and the quality and value of your content.

The keyword volume I am targeting for this site is 45,000 at the moment.

    • Hi amigo007 ,

      1. As far as I am concerned, I have not come across such sites offering free content. However, I would recommend you to do some research on the topic you want to write about for an hour and make some notes to facilitate the creation of article for your site.

      2. Sure blogger is a great way to start.

      3. It's very hard to give a specific time frame on reaching the coveted top spot as it's dependent on competition and your content.

Hosting on Blogger and writing on your own don't cost a single penny anyway.

I prefer to keep it here so everyone can benefit from others question too.
    • @amigo007 - Getting started with no $$$ is a nightmare I know. Been there and done that (4-5 Years ago). Things have changed since I started online and there are more suitable FREE options available now. Some options are:
      1. You can start blogging & writing articles on sites like www.hubpages.com, which allows you to monitize your content with Adsense & Amazon Ads.
      2. You can create a blog on Blogger.com or Wordpress.com; again both allow for monitization
      3. Get a FREE Domain with Hosting at www.dot.tk & install Wordpress on this domain.
Going the FREE route is something I had to do, as I lost everything in the 2008/9 financial crash. I am only now getting out of the mess & it is purely due to persistence. Some get lucky very quickly, some just figure this 'Make Money Online Thing' out quickly and for the rest: Set a Goal & don't give up.
  • Hey Engima,

    Do you choose new/aged?

Do you go for a domain with exact/partial keyword match or brandable?

    • one thing I still puzzled.

usually our site beside adsense ad , we also have other ads like perhaps from click bank etc.

my theme is suitable for mobile view

due to my nature of the theme

when come mobile mode I might " need to give up one adsense ad " as we all know per page
      max is 3 adsense ad.

So I wonder is it a " Must" every page must have 3 adsense ad in order to squeeze a bit more to earn?
      • [1] reply
    • Hi AuthorityDomains,

I am glad the information is of a great help to you.

      1. I prefer new domains but it is just a personal choice.
Aged domain can have a positive effect if it is done correctly.

But you must ensure there are clean backlinks/no bans etc

If you purchase a domain that was related to garden flowers and then decide to build a site on the new domain for cat toys, then you could have some issues with domain history relevancy based on the back link history

      2. I have noticed that domains that are brandable have better performance due to user experience. For example www.bestgardenflowers.com is not as appealing as GardenGEEK home or www.gardenersWorld.com

Moreover, you can grow this site into something much bigger to allow it to open the door to more opportunities.

So branding is the way to go.

I have affiliate Amazon links placed on my sites too and earn commissions every now and then.

Most of my links are within the content and I do not had any problem with my traffic from Google.

Just remember to balance your site with authority content and add in your links naturally.
  • Very nice guide on how to start earning good money from your blog. But I think you should diversify your income sources and not depend too much on Adsense. There have been many stories of people getting their adsense accounts banned for no apparent reasons which brought a sudden end to their income after months or maybe years of hard work.

I would advise finding a branding name for your health niche and start to develop pages in sub-niches that is not that competitive under health niche . In this way, you will be able to grow your site faster and bigger (or as big as your niche allows)

    • Good question Azizddf!

Responsive adds work a little differently as they don't display the optimum size all the time.

It will display the best ad size that's the most relevant to the visitor based on the ad type and budget. Eg. I can visit your site from my laptop and a small ad will be displayed as shown on your screen shoot cause that's the only ad being displayed from the current advertisers.

      I hope this makes sense.

However, I will be mindful with the number of ad units you have on your site.
You have too much of it in your site.

I don't have personal experience with any keyword tools.

These tools usually just speed up the process of finding good keywords.

And do you realize where are these tools getting those information from?

Yea, the good old and mighty Google.

So you are fine using the Keyword Planner that's available for free unless you are feeling rich.

  • Well, it's time to testify. I must say Engima has been so much of a blessing to many here including me. Based on inspirations I got here, I decided to start up something at http://www.ideaweb360.com. While trying to develop the site from my free blogger blog, I got engulfed with some challenges such that I wanted to parked up. I made posts and google bot refused to crawl them and because of that, I wasn't seen by google. I tried all I could and finally decided to turn to our coach which I never wanted to disturb again because he has done enough already. But thank God, he responded and we have been working underground to get the issues fixed. So he added the site to google webmaster tool, did some other magics am yet to find out from him and now the site has been fully indexed by google. Sure, am truly grateful to him and I believe there shouldn't be anyone here who should allow perceived challenges stop him/her from starting up something as a result of guides and inspirations of this thread. I also believe that together, we can surmount any challenge and press forward. So far, I have made six posts. You guys can check the site out and make recommendations where necessary. Am highly grateful especially to Engima and all who have contributed to the thread to make it a success. For now, my adsense button in blogger is still inactive and hence I cannot apply. • Hi marialou,

You can start backlinking once you have your content ready.

Always ensure that you have unique and quality backlinks.

Manual backlinking is always the best practice for optimized growth
of ranking and and earnings over time.

      Thanks.

  • Great post.

We have seen Adsense earnings drop massively in the last few months though. We were once at a CPC of around £0.23 but now we are lucky if we get £0.10 - mainly lower than that.

The traffic has also dropped, its is becoming harder in my view. A few months ago we made £8500 in one month now we are lucky if we get close to £1000.

As always, Adsense and traffic changes. Maybe we just have to ride it out, maybe we have to completely change tactics.

There is some great stuff in here - for those who are doubting Adsense if you get it right it can work. I can assure you of that.

Another quick tip: Desktop traffic earns more than mobile.

Would love to chat more Engima if you want...

    • That's correct banx63.

Some months can be more profitable than others.

What really matter is your content and your quality links to your site.

In return, it will stabilize the traffic in order to generate constant and stable income for you.

Just ride it out the hard days and never ever give up!

This can just be a Google dance so let it settle and review it in a few days.
  • Hi Enigma,
I'd like to say thanks for such an informative thread and thanks for taking time out here to help us all with your recommendations.
I am starting to foray into building adsense sites.

When do you recommend putting adsense ads onto our site... after 1 month with at least 20 - 30 articles maybe?
    Thanks again.
    • [1] reply
    • Hello LittleKev,

There is no window period at all.

You can start to apply Adsense on your future sites as soon as you have valuable content.

      Hope it helps.
  • Congratulations Engima on your success.

I have a question that I hope you can answer on.

When making a new site, how frequently do you submit your articles? Do you post the 300 - 400 posts in a single day? Or do you build up the content slowly (e.g. 1-2 articles per week)?
    • [1] reply
    • hi jasonlwe,

      It depends on the niche.

If it’s a niche that needs regular updates like news sites, then yes, 1 post every 2 days is fine.

But if you have evergreen niches like health niches, then you can have less posts, maybe 2 posts every 2 weeks is fine.

    • Hi engima

Glad that you are helping all the fellow warriors, but I notice that your suggestions will lead to adsense ban. For example you are suggesting to use 2 custom size ads along with 300 x 600 size ads.

The rules from Adsense posted here for easy reference

      "Policies and restrictions

To ensure that ads continue to deliver a positive user experience, we've put a few restrictions in place around maximum and minimum pixels for ad sizes. Any custom-sized ads that fall outside of the restrictions below won't appear when placed on a page.
Custom-sized ads are required to adhere to the AdSense ad placement policies. Additionally, the following size restrictions will be enforced:
      • Only one dimension can be greater than 300 pixels
      • The minimum width is 120 pixels
      • The minimum height is 50 pixels
      • Neither height nor width can exceed 1200 pixels.
Please note that we may change these policies. If you implement custom-sized ads, please check back here to ensure that your sites are in compliance. As always, please use your best judgement when using custom-sized ad units; ad units similar in size to the 300x600 ad format will be subject to similar placement restrictions. Ads will not be served to ad units in violation of these restrictions. Bear in mind that the look and feel of your text ad units will depend on your ad unit dimensions.

      Ensuring proper ad placement

      Ad limit per page

Currently, on each page AdSense publishers may place:
Publishers may not place more than one "large" ad unit per page. We define a "large" ad unit as any unit similar in size to our 300x600 format. For example, this would include our 300x1050 and 970x250 formats, our 750x200 and 580x400 regional formats, and any other custom sized ad with comparable dimensions.
However, keep in mind that placing the maximum number of allowed ad units on a page might result in it looking cluttered. Read our optimization guidelines for tips on where to place your ads. For best practices on custom sized ad units, review our custom-sized ad units page.
The above ad limits also apply to mobile sites. In addition, two or more AdSense ads may not appear on the screen at the same time on a mobile site.

I have posted the Adsense rules regarding the placements and it is very clear that your site as well as others who followed your suggestions are in DANGER of getting banned for ad placement policy violation. Please go through all the adsense norms and implement only the methods which are SAFE and follow the adsense norms, else every one is at the risk of losing the gold mine Adsense forever.

  • Hi Engima, do you add images for each post? If you do, where do you get the images from.
    • [1] reply
    • Hi chinedu86,

      Yes I do use images.

You can try using photopin.com for images.
  • Can you please explain me this ?

If the search term has 2500 search's low competition. But the bid is $0.05 So, it generates less revenue ? is it so ? Or still we should go for that not for high competition keywords ?
    • [1] reply
    • Hello solvemyhow, personally I only go for volume instead of high CPC.

By doing that, it gives more revenues and grow your site faster too.

If you target low search volume with high cpc, you will not achieve the optimal CPC due to your weak site authority.

You will only reach your high cpc once you have a strong authority site so it is way easier and faster if you go for volume first instead of high cpc.

Hope it makes sense to you.
  • Subscribing to learn!!! Thanks a lot engima.
  • Hi Engima, I copied this from your post on the 1st page.
Once we find the well established authority sites for the niche we are targeting, do we grab the keywords that they are ranking for and use that to build our own sites with long tail versions of those keywords found in the well established sites? Is that what you meant? Sorry, just starting out and everything is quiet blurry to me. Thanks.
    • [1] reply
    • That is correct.

You can use that as a strategy for your articles.

However, you will need to structure your articles and
ensure they are well written to get more shares and likes.
      • [1] reply
  • this is just proper SEO for 2015. Good on you Engima!

that being said, depending on your niche I'd test with some paid traffic (arbitrage) from bing or 7search.

just in case, Google flips on you and casts your sites down into the 9th page of hell.

Test it out, just in case. Test it out.

    Continue with the success,

    • [1] reply
    • Hi Ike,

      You are right.

Nowadays, you must implement the right site creation to order to succeed.

Stay clean and you stay ranked!
  • Where do you hire your top quality writers from? Can you link me up with them.
    • [1] reply
    • Hi chinedu86,

When I started out hiring writers, I started with iwriter.com
but currently for the past 8 months I have been using epicwrite.com

Both seems to do a great job in terms of quality of the articles
with a very reasonable price to tag with.

Bear in mind that you will need to provide clear instructions
so the writers know what they need to do.
eg. main keywords and LSI K/W.

      • [1] reply
    • Hi fzavier,

Personally I stay away from expired domains
as I like a clean start with my own branded domain.

I can understand your reasons for doing so as
this can get you out of the google sandbox period.

However, a new domain means a clean start
and with the right articles you would not have much
      to worry about.

On the another hand, an expired domain comes with
the risks of having bad links incurred in the past and
that comes with severe ranking penalties.

  • Hello Engima,

One of my sites was penalized by Google for bad backlinks on 2011. It has around 200 articles and all were well optimized. I earned more than $100 per day (Adsense) from this site. Now this site is completely dead and no Google organic traffic. Is it possible to recover this site by deleting bad backlinks? Please give me a suggestion.

    Thanks
    • [1] reply
    • Hello Eversmile,

This is a tricky situation as first of all, the articles
that would have been ranked previously in 2011
would probably not stand in the current competition
      today.

Removing bad links could help the site but there are
still other variables that can make a site rank back
after a penalized action from Google.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Thanks Engima. What about niche picking? Would you advocate sticking with the main ones like weight loss, fitness, making money online or something closer to the heart like what your specifically passionate about? This is the main stumbling block that is very daunting for me to get started. Appreciate your good help which is so selfless.
    • [1] reply
    • hello fzavier,

Selecting a niche can be time consuming but
there are several ways to identify a weak niche.

For example, you can target weight loss but be
more specific and targeted in that niche.

A good example will be weight loss for vegans.

Do some research and fill in content where
it is not covered in other sites.

If they do, try to leverage on their research
      and rewrite it.
  • Please suggest me a best bad backlink removal service.
  • Hello Enigma,

If you are in my situation what will you do? Will you try to recover the penalized site or will you try to start a new website?

Your kind advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

so is the only competition analysis you do with the moz tool bar? checking for low PA and backlinks?
What about authority sites which are ranking inner pages because off high DA, do you normally outrank them?

Do you do any link building or off page seo?

    thanks
    • [1] reply
    • Hi Jayy ,

This is all I use and really all you need.

You can outrank authority inner pages.

Check the inner P/A of that page,
look for a weak inner P/A and then
weak content and you should be
good to go as long as you have
      great content.

I do my own link building and once
the site gains momentum, you can
get a lot of free links for link building.
  • @Engima

Do you think I would be able to rank using your method against eCommerce sites (Ebay or Amazon or Local eCommerce sites)

Let's say I have an Information site and I want to target "iPhone 6 + keyword", do I get a chance to rank against those big eCommerce site.
    • [1] reply
    • Hi cosmicx, I would not advise trying to
      outrank ecommerce.

The reason being is, Google is trained
to pull out iPhone 6 product related sites
and ecommerce sites at the very top 5
images of iphones from local retailers
and this can spell tough competition.

However, if I google how to set up iPhone 6
then I get a different style of site
      (information content site)

    • Hello seo2ever, all the backlinks are all
done via contacting webmasters of sites
in the similar niche and building a relationship
before you even ask for a link or even a share.

This is time consuming but one of these
links will be more powerful than a USD200
link building campaign as all your links
      will be unique.
  • Hello Engima,
Actually, I've created some sites in 2011 with a PGM for "google adsense"only I started to get too much traffic to my "Shared Hosting account" than the ISP complaint about it. As a newbie this time I didn't know too much about IM and I gave up because no enough profit to spend for VPS or dedicated hostings /monthly as you know,is expensive for beginner and it is one of the key to success too but no much it is said ? What is your best advice to give to us? I just found you and I am reading your threats from the beginning, god bless you! to be so kind to share with us your own experiences with "Google Adsense".
    • [1] reply
    • Hello Alex, thank you very much and I am glad to be of
      great help to you.

My best advise is grow your site and get it running on
shared hosting like hostgator for about USD10 a month.

Once you start reaching 1000 hits day, you can start
to earn some income to pay for your shared VPS!

After you have outgrow your shared VPS, I am sure
you will be able to pay for your own dedicated VPS.

      Hope this helps.

How do you manage to get on the first page? Is it all just based on LONGtail keywords where there's no competition?. I see you adding kw's into h1's, title tags, meta's etc. But how does that get you to the first page? Esp if you're getting content from people like iwriter.

I'm just curious?? Like there's no backlinking WHATSOEVER?
    • [1] reply
    • Hi GGpaul,

First and foremost, content is key.

You must ensure you have done your
      keyword research like my thread
and cover multiple keywords in the articles.

Once you have well structured articles
with images/videos which are seo optimized,
then you can start reaching out for backlinks.

Web master will only backlink to you if your
content is worth for their audience to read.

After you posted an article. Do you do any off page SEO or PPC?

      Thanks
      • [1] reply
    • Hi Davys, first off you have a great template.

I strongly recommend everyone checks out your template as a great example.

      It's clean and simple.

Consider changing your text color ad to match the orange
you have on your recent post widget area. Remove your Ad
links at the bottom of your articles as you want visitors to click
on regular ad units as they pay more the link units which requires
2 clicks to give you an income. Replace this ad unit with a responsive
      ad size.

With regards to your widget ad I would swap this for a larger skyscraper
300 x 600 as tech niches need larger areas to display larger advertising as
those have higher CPC value due to the strong competition on the keywords.

How do you know about it? Did you get these type of keywords by using categories option in G keyword planner tool?
    • [1] reply
    • Hi Goyllo,

I start by looking at Google trends for keywords since they are usually not covered by others. (low competition = easier to rank)
  • Hello engima, does amount made with ad sence depend on the page ranking,or the amount of traffic the site gets?
    • [1] reply
    • Hi KEEP11,

If you have an established site with site authority,
your earnings will increase (cpc) naturally.

From my experience with my Adsense manager,
your traffic quality plays a more significant role than
      page ranking.

  • Thank you so much Enigma for this very informative thread - i'll be following this.

  • I am seriously lacking direction in what i want to make a website about.

Could i make a general blog and write random articles about topics i have interest in.. and some reviews of products i have bought.

    Choosing Hotels in Bangkok
How to find cheap flights in the UK
African Black soap review from Amazon
    Maintaining old mountain bikes

Does having a dedicated authority site really matter as long as my individual articles are getting ranked?
    • [1] reply
    • Hi shrewedpunter,

Good point! you can have a general site as long as it is structured in away that it works (this structure is the same for all my sites).

      Branded domain works best.

You have categories set up and under each category, you can have your smaller article/posts eg. travel (categories)-
How to find cheap flights in the UK / Choosing Hotels in Bangkok (300-500 word Post) ----Reviews (Categories) African Black soap review from Amazon (300-500 word Post) etc..

Once your articles start to rank and bring in traffic, you will gain Authority naturally .

Try to add one main bulky post/article per category and then link from smaller articles to your main authoritative content.

This will really help with your link flow.
  • The successful people with Adsense sites are not going to divulge info like this. I say congrats to you for giving back. We all know that Adsense makes money for Google so it will never be saturated like some niches. There's too much money in it. I have visited sites that make a ton of money in Adsense alone but they will not reveal any details of what they do to rake in 5 figures a month.
    • [1] reply
    • I do agree with you dangon95819!

It's great to have so much positive reply's from this information!

It's really the root of growing sites to Authority level!
  • Super sexy and useful thread.
I can not thank yet, because of my post count, but i will if i reach the limit.

I also have some beginner questions which i would love to have clarified by you or someone.
(I know that other people have asked similar questions in this topic, but i really want to be sure, that i understand correctly).

Example : I find a niche, that i am interested in.
I register a domain, which i take as a brand(i intend to post a lot of useful information about different topics that are close to my niches).

    Question 1)
If my domain does not contain the niche keyword, is that okay ?
Is the main point that my page/post url has to have it?
    Example :"www.mybrandname.com/pagecontainsnichename"

You said that, you should have 1-6 pages within your blog.
    Question 2)
Does having 1-6 pages within my blog mean:
    1) mybrandname.com/mainniche1
    2)mybrandname.com/mainniche2
    ...
    6)...../mainniche6
    Question 2.1)
Are mainniche1-mainniche6 supposed to be our big keywords, that are being googled and we are targeting ? (They are different keywords, but their topics are similar and connected somehow.)

    Question 3)
Does post on page mean the following?:
    mybrandname.com/mainniche1/smallerPostOnSimilarContetToMainNiche

Correct me if im wrong :
Our mainniche1- mainniche6 pages should contain the targeted keyword in the url and other similar keywords in our subheadings etc as you have showed us,
    BUT:
If i post new articles/blog posts under one of those main pages,
what kind of keywords do i target then ?
If i post a new blog post/article under my mainniche1 page , should my post contain and target smaller relevant keywords and content to my mainniche1 or do they HAVE TO contain the same keywords that my mainniche1 page?

A lot of long questions, that might be hard to understand, but i tried to describe my questions as accurately as my English and understanding of this topic allows.

Once again, superawesome thread and thank you for sharing so much valuable information with us !
    • [1] reply
    • Hey mungapea!!

Glad to hear that this has helped you along your path.

      1) you do not need the keyword in the domain.

I recommend you stay away from keywords in your domain as it limits your site to the type of content you can target.

It is also not necessary to have the keyword in the article URL.

Google is smarter nowadays to understand what your article is about.

I strongly believe google has the ability to even see and acknowledge your images and if they are related to the article or not.

      2) Pages wise, it will be how you structure the site into your categories. Your main pages (posts) should be the volume keywords as mentioned at the start of the thread.

Any other smaller posts (300-500 words) will be linked to your main Post (giving you link flow from your site).

----2.1---If these are volume keywords set them up as main page (post) maybe a general look at all machines then have smaller content posts per machine .

---3---- as 2.1---- I hope I have cleared it up as much as I can, in general target your volume keywords in your bulk pages (there seams to be a confusion and sorry when I say page I mean as a long 2500-5000 word Post in WP I just seam to refer it to as page). planning is key!
  • Can anyone recommend a really good warrior adsense website creation service.

We have some extremely good domain names and need someone to create the site to all the seo work.

All I want to do is give them my adsense code.

    Well pay top dollar
    • [1] reply

    • I can't recommend any as I don't use them and every site I had so far
      is done manually by me.

I have seen some of such "services" going for few hundreds per site
and to me, it is kind of fishy cause the amount of effort and time invested
in these sites are worth more than that.

If I were them, I will charge at least 4,997 per site.
(Of course, with verified earnings along with it.)

      wonder others also get affected?

      • [1] reply
    • Hello mungapea, Yes! it is possible to out rank sites like CNN,NYT.

You just need to know how.

When you are targeting your article for your main keyword, check out the Page Authority of the article from CNN,NYT (use open site explorer) and if it is below 30 PA with weak content and or only a few external links pointing to the article it self.

You can out rank it with 1 or 2 quality links to your article.

    • [3] replies
    • Hi Enigma,

I dont understand the structure of an ideal website for a niche. You say you have 400 posts and on the other hand you say you have around 6 pages (big posts) on that website.
That means all the other posts are small posts pointing to your 6 pages?

And one more thing, I dont understand the differences between categories and pages (big posts) in that ideal site. I think if you show an example of this it would be more clearer.

      Thank you very much.

  • This thread is such a big help and an inspiration that Adsense still works. Most people out there charge money for the kind of advice you're giving here engima. Kudos to you

I want to start on Adsense myself but sadly I don't have a non-hosted account yet. I have a hosted account for YouTube but I don't think it can still work for blogspot or hubpages like before without further approval.

My problem is always on finding a niche that I'm passionate about and my funds are limited at the moment so I don't want to jump into anything and throw away my money. Anyway, I will keep coming back to this thread. Thank you for all the valuable information you're providing us here.

Recently I tried the " matched content beta "

I switch all ads to responsive and include a banner ad

remove that ad below my article for " matched content beta "

so far highest managed to get 2 dollars sadly is not quite constant , most of the days still few cents ... still a long way to get at least 10 bucks or even more per day.

problem still lie on amount of traffic as massive traffic is needed.

  • Hi jeffreys,

You need to check your wordpress backend code!

I can't fix technical issues as I am not a coder.

Maybe you can try to reset your Wordpress template back to its original form and test if you have the same problem.

If the problem persist, re-install wordpress on your domain.

    Hope this helps.

usually just cents to one dollar but mostly cents.

      I wonder what happen
      I do research my keywords.

talking about keywords is focus more one average search or Bid amount?

as I noticed some keywords which have less average search only per month 20 to 30 the bid is a lot .

      so which one should focus?

I know enigma mention focus more on the amount of average search but how about bid ?
      • [1] reply
    • hello Dollaring,

The biggest problem is your domain cause the site
only target coconut oil to lose weight.

What about other forms of oil to lose weight?

You will have a hard time expanding your site
if your niche is too small or narrow.

SecretOil.com or something along those lines
may helps to increase the scope to write more
articles based on other forms of oils.

      Hope this helps.

When I visit your site, a banner appears

    • [2] replies
    • I don't have CPA offers...

but actually no harm integrate both together.
      • [1] reply
    • I don't find your comment helpful with the audience looking for ways to make money with Adsense.

You could make more with CPA offers if your audience are willing to take the extra steps to fill up forms and etc and I find that offensive because you are basically pushing junk offers to your audience unless you have a perfect cpa offer to match their needs.

For example, while you are trying to push your playbook membership with a review, it won't work with Adsense audience cause they are only interested in Adsense.

And your review are biased too since you are earning a commission for every lead that sign up through the affiliate link in your review site.

If you try make some posts in PPC section, maybe you will have a higher sign up rate since your offer is aligned to their interest but I will rewrite that review if I were you.

      Thanks for chipping in though.

  • Hi Enigma,
Thank you for the valuable information. My average cpc is around $ 0.15 as i am in India and I was trying to increase this cpc by different means. You meant that not to target the high cpc keywords while focusing on higher volume keywords that eventually leads to high cpc depending on the quality of contents.
Will serving only the adsense ads through dfp makes any difference?
    • [1] reply
    • Hi Praveece,

      There are too many variables.

You can never just accept the cpc from keyword planner.

These cpc are used for ad campaign creators so this is set to the average cpc rate of the day.
You need to also consider the traffic source, eg country.

Hence, this is why I focus on volume which allows the site to increase its value naturally.

I receive many personal messages and also requests on this tread regards to niche selection so i have decided to put a short list together based on my take on this subject. The list is quite broad and needs developing into your own personal direction, use this as a guide to spark off ideas (use sites such as zergnet.com to build on your ideas) and then look for the volume in them with weak competition. Volume makes profit once you start to rank.

feel free to discuss this further

1.Download style sites- Pdf manual products/
    2.Sports-Mountain biking/Cycling/Fishing/Basketball/Table Tennis/Baseball
3.Children niche - Coloring books/ Spot the difference

presently just cents ...most of the time.

keywords check , SEO , etc done

perhaps my niche is too intensive ...as it is fitness , health.

wonder it how long to each a constant 20 bucks..just from one site.

I don't plan to start another sites

( but it seem like those managed to earn a lot per day are having multi sites ? as it target at different niches )

sometimes I wonder how adsense works
I check my record .. got one day it has only few hundred page view and impression yet managed to earn 1 dollar
whereas some days thousand page view and impression yet just few cents.
