Suppression File in CashNetwork

I am new to CN. What do I do with the suppression file?

I have downloaded the zip and extracted it. The Unsubscribe link is in my email.

Now what?

Can I still send traffic to my link?

    You only need the suppression list if your using email to send traffic. It's a Do Not Email list.

    The suppression file contains list of suppressed email addresses. These email addresses were added to the suppression file when people clicked on unsubscribe button for that offer.

    For example:

    If you got a promotional email and when you don't want those emails to your email anymore, you will click on unsubscribe link, automatically, these people who were unsubscribed for that particular offer will be added to the suppression file and there they are not allowed to send anymore promotional emails to that email address according to CAN SPAM act.

    Thanks. How do I use it? When I open the txt files it's just a bunch of garbled letters.

    Should it be a list of addresses?

    I'm going to broadcast the offer to my list so I should cleanse it.

      If so, do you a program to unzip?

    If you are using any email marketing softwares like aweber, they will have an option to use suppression list when sending your broadcast, which will automatically don't send your broadcast to your suppression list.
