New to CPA Marketing! Need Advice

Hi,
I am quite new to cpa marketing

do you have any guide about how to select the best offers.
I have joined peerfly but have no idea how to choose an offer.

I dont have a big budget and that's why I want to get started with the offers
that help me make a bit of money, which i will re-invest.

I read somewhere that we should select offers that have at least $1 epc.( epc is earnings per click, right? some people say it's earnings per 100 clicks, that's why I asked.)

I have also read in places that we should keep our cpc about half of the epc.
so, if an offer's epc is 0.20, we keep the cpc at 0.10??
are we going to get any clicks at all if cpc is this low?

Would love some suggestions from some of the experts here.

Best,
Faraz

I would Say start with google or you tube there is a lot of information for those that are starting out. It's something that takes some time and work. I found this site when I was looking around Metrics in online advertising a lot of good Information. Through out our network this year to date the highest EPC was $0.86 the Average for all offers was $0.08

I think that is would be more about getting the right traffic to the right offer so that you have a high conversion rate The top two affiliates average out at a EPC of $0.07

      Wow! Sounds unbelievable.
And I thought people were getting $5 and above as their epc's.
How do they profit from this and
does that mean their cpc is $0.035??

      Now, this is soo confusing!!

Take a look at PPL (pay per lead) offers, basically your generating a lead instead of a sale. All the user has to do is fill out a form in order to make money. So conversions are typically much higher than an offer that you have to generate a sale.

I favor offers that have some financial positioning...have a make, get or save money angle to them. This is what has worked best for me(I've been doing this for 15 years), as these offers tend to have mass appeal, so the potential exists to be able to produce high volume.

EPC is Earnings Per Click (not per 100 clicks)

Your CPC (cost per click) just needs to be less than your EPC, so that you are making a profit. Ideally the bigger the spread the better.

I use email to generate traffic.

Basically I purchase targeted data that I know what the users are interested in and that a PPL (pay per lead) offer exists that matches their interest. I also generate co-reg using the same principle.

So all my advertising dollars go to acquiring assets that I can market to over and over for very little cost, rather than trying to get clicks.

The trick is to start small with each data source and test to make sure that I can break-even in a reasonable period of time before spending a bunch of money. All I care about is breaking-even, because as I said I'm acquiring assets, so once at break-even...turning a profit is pretty much inevitable.

This is just a very simplistic overview and there is more involved. Something to think about.

    hmm, good advice.

I saw a few offers today that seemed good.
One was about a free voucher for nike shoes
and the other was about thermoslim capsules to lose fat.

There was still one more about walmart vouchers

so, what kind of keywords should I target for these.
do you guys prefer extremely specific - something like theremoslim capsules
or more broad - something like lose fat capsules

not sure what kind of keywords to target for nike shoes
I dont think people are searching for shoes gift vouchers.

And then, do you think people search for walmart vouchers?
what kind of keywords should I go for?

I saw another one about visa gift card.
should I use keywords such as free visa gift card?

What kind of keywords would you guys use for this one?

what I'd like to know is what kind of keywords should I target for these .

Thinking of going for 7search ads now.
your suggestions and advice are welcome.
