AdSense -- how much text per page?

I have an AdSense account and the site I used to get approved had plenty of text.

I want to monetize some viral-style content, and much of it is based on embedded videos, photos, etc. How much text do those pages need to have in order to stay compliant with AdSense? Will a few sentences to introduce the video be sufficient? Or do I need to have a longer article to accompany it?

Would appreciate any help/guidance you can provide.

I think you ask the wrong question, you should optimize for user expierence and not adsense. If your users are happy with your sites content, adsense will be fine, too.

    • Well, I agree, but don't want to do anything risky with my Adsense account. Does anybody know if they look for a specific wordcount?
  • there is not any constraint in this but it should be 300 words atleast according to me so that google can define type of content to show their ads on page.
  • It is at least 300-500 words per page/post
  • I see AdSense on picture or not, script sites, I wonder if that conclude any text.
