Is PPV dying with Improved Pop-Up Blockers of Various Browsers?

Hi all!

I just want to share my experience and probably post a question as well regarding PPV.
I've been an affiliate for 3 years now and I've had great months and low months in the past. But it's been pretty stable and I've never been below the red line.
I use PPV for traffic, nothing else. Sometimes I direct-link, sometimes I use a prelander.

Recently though, I noticed that traffic coming from various sources have been slowing down. Also, based on my tracker, many of my ads are getting blocked by browsers. Most effective browser to block my ads is chrome.

Conversions are slowing down at an incredible rate now too, even with my most stable campaigns (skincare, weightloss and muscle boosters).

I've never been below the red line, but now that's my status for 3 months now.

Do you think PPV is dying now? That would be really sad if that's the case.

The vast majority of people don't use any kind of pop up blocker, so I don't think PPV is going to die anytime soon.

I agree with magdag4321 and ChrisBa that video is a stable format. We work with video ads as well and see consistent, sharp numbers. There are varying kinds of formats also in working with video - we have Rewarded Video (for mobile apps) as well as Mobile Video Locker (for web pages) at Adscend Media. You are paid on the app install after the user watches a very short video/app trailer. These products as well as other PPV are performing very well. If you have an app or a web page that receives volume from mobile users, you can test one of these products to compare to your current stats being numbers are a bit down for you at the time.

      Whew! That's a relief.
I'm going to have to step up my game then, it might be that I'm the only one experiencing this.

Thanks for the advice. I do have an account in Adscned Media, I'll try your recommendations.

      Cheers!
