Hey Guys, i wanted to know which parameters you consider when rating a network, any chance to get your feedback on this? thanks!

Basically i check various things to rate a network:
1. User interface and design (imp. because ad networks ask publishers to have a good professional looking website,so, they should also look professional and provide good user interface)
2. Services, payment frequency, payment options and ad formats (not that important)
These are important because what a publisher want is a good ad network that can provide good payment options, and do not delay payments, the quicker the better, however, ad networks can take some time to check the traffic quality to ensure safety for their advertisers. But payment frequency should be optimal and not very long like 45 days 60 days or more.

3.Users ratings, i try to read reviews present on other websites and forums. I especially check comment sections.
After all everybody wants to join a genuine ad network not scammer.

4. How old a network is and how effectively it is running.
this adds up more value because old networks are established and they are more professional.

5. The response time, and support options this is one of the important thing. This shows how good an ad network is.

From advertisers point of view i check few things:
1. ad formats.
2. Fraud detection and removal policy.
3. refund or return policy.
4. stats reporting system.
5. payment options, not only advertisers avoid networks if they do not find suitable payment option but ad networks also loose money if they do not provide proper payment options.

One thing i want to add, whatever we rate a network doesn't matter much but what our visitors rate a network matters the most. A good network is always good.

There are too many fake reviews online, they are just to make money and that is why visitors ratings become important. Every website has limitations, my website has too, i have to add new ad networks to my website to rank high in Google and to get regular visitors. Sometimes we get good networks sometimes bad, that is why users ratings are most important.

I also do not write much bad about any ad network even if it becomes scam or even if it doesn't pay me. I just simply write not recommended and provide reason for that. I can understand everybody here is to make money. None of the network starts with an aim of scamming people but business fails often.
