PPV campaign referring domains

Hi All,

First of all, a happy new and prosperous new year to you all

Ive just started my very first PPV campaign using LeadImpact as the traffic source.
To begin with I am Direct Linking to the offer and am using Voluum as the tracker.
I used URL's of competitor websites as the keywords. (competitors of the offer that I am promoting)

I have had no conversions yet, but am looking at the referring domains showing in Voluum and I am seeing referring domains such as:
"a.mktngadvert.com" and "a.targetingadvertiser.com".

Is this usual? I was expecting to see the URL's I am bidding on as the referring domains?

    This is normal, these the some of the domains that show up from leadimpact..

    how long has the campaign been running?

    Unfortunately, in this business it's pretty normal to hide the source from us paying customers. Targetingadvertiser is adware. So either the referrer doesn't get passed or they are just blanking it.

    You can see the referring page with 50onRed and Zeropark though.

      Ahh yes, I see the referrers for 50onRed, I setup a campaign with this traffic source yesterday.
      One other question, if I am bidding on Keywords rather than just URLs for the Targets in these traffic sources then where will my Pop-ups actually display? Will it be when the user types these keywords into a search engine?

        Your pop-ups will pop when the keywords are in the url.. (for searches, it will show in the url typically)

      i'm looking for some help with 50onred.
      i've run a few campaign already and didn't got any conversions.
