With CPA you need to go with Facebook Ads or some low price advertising network. Be careful not to use the CPA offer that so many affiliates are already marketing. Find CPA offers that are not used by everybody and their grandmas, then make your ads very targeted. You need 400-500$ to test what offers and ads are making money and which are losing money. Then delete those ads and offers that are not making money. Increase your investment in those ads and offers that are making money. Watch you ads carefully and be prepared to adjust them at any time.

Take a look at PPL (pay per lead) offers.

I have been promoting CPA offers for 16+ years and 90% has probably been PPL.

With PPL there is no credit card required. All a user has to do is fill out a form for you to make money. So conversion rates are typically much higher than offer that require a sale. Basically your just generating leads.

I favor offers that have a make, get or save money angle to them, as they are what I have overwhelming done best with. They tend to have the greatest mass appeal, so the potential to generate high volume exists. I also promote offers that don't have that angle to them and even some that require a purchase, but the key is that they still need to have mass appeal or solve the house is on fire type problem.

There are many PPL offers that pay $20-$60(some higher depending on the vertical) that work well with font-end campaigns. Offers that pay much less or require a purchase, I will typically promote on the back-end.

With that said, you can have a great offer and the offers you promote are key, but if you can't drive cost effective, quality traffic, your not going to make money. This is why so many fail.

I do things quite differently than most when it comes to generating traffic. I purchase data(email lists) and the reason is that I'm building assets that I then own and can market to over and over at low cost. Compared to what what most marketers do, which is to pay for traffic/advertising that typically just ends up producing clicks that they will never be able to market additional offers to.

I purchase fresh/targeted data that I know what the users are interested in and that at PPL offer exists that matches their interest. I generate real-time co-reg that I target specific PPL offers. I also purchase aged data, which is a bit more involved, as it requires some additional tools/resources to do.

Some will say to never to buy a list, but I have no doubt most of them read that and now just preach it as if it's the truth. While other may have tried and fail, because they simply didn't know what they were doing or bought a list that was garbage.

There is a big difference between buying a list that you plan to try and sell a specific single product or service and if you don't get many conversion it's a failure, over promoting a bunch of free offers that have mass appeal / high conversions and pay well.

There's obviously much more that goes into it, but it really does work. Everyone that I know that's in the business and knows what they are doing, does 6-7 figures. While that may be a huge range, much comes down to ones ability to scale and effectively manage the infrastructure that comes with scaling.

It's not a business that is for everyone, as it takes money to make money and some just don't have the budget to get started. But it's certainly something to think about.

I suppose I could of gone a bit more in-depth, but I at least got my point across. Plus I'm sure that it's something probably very few have ever thought about.

CPA is a form of affiliate marketing. Making money whether its sending traffic to a sales page or a CPA offer it all comes down to getting quality traffic on a steady basis. Thats the first part of it and the second part to make all of this work is you need to convert that traffic. Focus on traffic and conversions and master that and the money won't help but follow but to go after the money first most won't make it. We can't start at the end result.

Instead of trying to make money try creating a campaign and around whatever and learn how to get a targeted audience that is engaged. You want people to stay on your page and interact where possible.

So your learning to get traffic and you are learning how to convert that traffic. Once you do that you can monetize and print your money!

There are all kinds of cost per action (CPA) programs. The problem in your situation sounds like you don't know how to market. Plus, do you have plans of doing any free marketing too? Why not Clickbank or selling an affiliate product... why CPA in particular?

I second the PPL approach. The low barrier for entry makes it a relative breeze to make money at it.

After you get some $$$ coming in, I'd suggest learning about driving traffic to a webpage and then start learning how to write effective ad copy or presell copy. Your revenue from sales will tell you how you're progressing in your learning. But you need traffic coming through first.

Begin with joining the networks.

There are some represented right here on the forum that would be your best bet when first starting out.

You would have an advantage to begin working with affiliate managers right from the start.

They want you to succeed.

Once you establish a good relationship with affiliate managers there are lots of "perks" you can enjoy like increased commissions and exclusive offers not on general display.

You need to get targeted traffic and reroute them to matching CPA offerings.

This can be done by PPC (fast but costly and risky)
This can be done via a middle stage, such as your blog or website (slow but less risky)

There are other methods but the 2 I've listed are common.

CPA is a market and you need to know it very well, otherwise it will cost you $$$$ and time to get nothing
