Teespring and Facebook ads

So I was wondering if you are running and TS campaign with FB ads and are paying say $10 and day for ads and it only reaches 600-1500 people if you increased the amount spent and could reach more people would sales increase significantly? Or would sales only moderately increase? Are FB ads a crap-shoot or is throwing more money at them worth it?

How much traffic is going to your page? It sounds like you might be targeting too tightly

I'm not sure how to check that? Are you referring to the FB ads or the Teespring numbers? For FB ads it says that 15k have been reached in six days. I have only sold around 26 shirts. I'm new at this and trying to understand what I need to look at to make sure I'm maximizing my ads budget, sales and effective targeting. I hope that makes sense. Thanks for the reply!

Well you can clearly see if it's worth it no? If the ROI is positive then it's worth it. Unless you also build a list, then you might consider it worthy even if the ROI is slightly negative.

Facebook is strange. You can have 2 identical campaigns and one of them performs better with no apparent reason. I guess it has to do with the way they optimize it. If you get a few clicks at the beginning it can snowball. That's why if you split test you put a budget on each campaign. If you leave many ads with single budget some of them will snowball and the others won't get much exposure.

So it really comes down to split testing instead of just increasing your budget. Even if you find the golden grail it won't last long and increasing the budget won't help. Take a close look at the Frequency metric, if it's way above 1 your campaign will fatigue as most of the people in your audience already saw your ad.

I'd say 26 is very good for a beginner.
