Suggestions on best Adsense Alternatives

So I'm growing a general niche site (think Mashable or buzzfeed) we produce 1-2 articles daily and I'm driving initial traffic using Buzzfeed style quizzes and Facebook carousel ads.
Anyways, in the long term, I'm planning on monetizing with affiliate products, but for now, I'm looking into paying for my campaigns with advertising revenue.
What ad networks have you used and what makes them better than Google Adsense?

There are many native ads companies that you can use instead of Adsense. Here are a few that I can think of:

    - Taoola
    - Revcontent
    - Outbrain
    - Adsnative
    - Nativo

There are many more, just do some research and you will find more.

    I hope this helps

Thanks, I have a general idea of dozens of different ad companies, but I've only ever used Adsense.

I was looking for more of a first hand experience kind of recommendation

The best alternative to Adsense is Adsense. I've worked with Chitika and a couple of others that people say are the best, for every dollar Adsense made me (same niche, same type of article, same number of visitors), I got 12 or so cents from Chitika, and 5 or 6 from the others.

        That was in 2012.

You would have to find your own alternative in this case but that would be bad to personally check those out as well.

Those are my sentiments exactly, that's why I wanted to turn to The Warrior Forum.

The way my site is set up, Adsense has a leaderboard, below image, and sidebar placement.

I've maxed out my three units so I'm looking for in content ads, sticky sidebar, and after content ad placements.

Affiliate marketing isn't an "alternative" to ads, rather something to be used in conjunction with ads.

          I've heard good
Things about media.net so I'll apply for approval and hopefully things work out with them.

          Thanks for all your responses

BuySellAds and Chitika. InfoLinks works good with text-based websites.

Actually there is no such great alternatives of Adsense. Adsense gives you one of the best CPC rates compare to anothers. However you should try affiliate marketing as a good alternative of adsense.

The best you say? I don't know about that. That wouldn't be good advice if someone told me this. This depends on what type of blog you have as well. Entertainment bloggers can definitely get some good money with Adsense along with a few other native advertisement companies all in one.

        Hey,

It's an all purpose type of website. Depends on being updated daily or even more often.

Books, travel, dating, motivation, productivity, tech etc.

There's a lot of room for affiliate marketing and advertising

Yeah Daniel I have to agree with a few of the others. People complain about this and that with Adsense
but it is the best. The highest CPC by a long shot.

There is nothing better than Adsense. Its the highest paying. Iv earned over $20 per click before. Insane.

Just follow their terms and you shouldn't have a problem. They actually encourage you to promote other affiliate links on the same page. What matters is your placement.
